They paid off without any kicking and screaming!
January 2025: I bought my powered recliner off amazon in november of 2023 overall been quite happy with the chair but recently I was having issues with losing power till apparently the power Adapter quit working. The procedure to make a claim is pretty simple you can do it over the internet or they provide a phone number where you can also accomplish this part of it. They will ask for photos front and back and a photo of any model number/serial number information that may be present on the product. My chair did not have a model number plate on it anyplace that I could find so at first they kicked back the email asking for that info again. There was no place to type a message so I just sent them the first photos a second time. I was thinking they’d probably return it again but I heard nothing then got busy with new years and didn’t think anything about it until I checked my mail and noticed correspondence from them. They sent me a full check for the price of the product $499.00 which I consider a nice gift from Santa that it was so easy to get this done. I’m not giving up on my chair, I think my friends and I can go over the wiring and maybe figure out how to fix it but the important part is that assurion did exactly what I paid the extra $66.00 for, they covered my expensive chair and took care of me when it broke. If I buy another expensive item anyplace that offers assurion insurance I will be very happy to buy it again. Thanks guys for the nice christmas present! It’s so nice to find an insurance product that isn’t a giant PITA to deal with, appreciate ya guys!

Couch is cheaply and poorly made
I love the color, however, the couch is very cheaply made, the frame is not stable, in fact it’s so thin that the back will most likely break with normal use. The measurements in the pictures do not match the actual measurements. Because it was vacuum packed/sealed there is no way to pack it back in to the original boxes. I’m so disappointed. I am very upset with Amazon for working with a company that’s products are so poorly made. I wouldn’t even donate this to any organization. I will think twice about ever ordering any furniture from Amazon in the future. I didn’t want to give any star ratings but was forced to in order to submit

They do not stand behind their plan
We purchased a patio furniture set that included a “heavy duty” cover, which is part of the reason that we chose this product. We take very good care of our items, but the cover ripped about 4 feet on the top rendering it useless to protect the furniture. We filed a claim, which was NOT “easy” like they state as we had to resend information, resend photo’s, make additional phone calls. I think they were trying to make us give up. When they had nothing left, they just denied the claim, stating that the cover is an “accessory. As you can see from the photo image rips are covered! Never again will we purchase insurance from Asurion!

Pretty easy claim process and expedient payment on claim
There were a few steps to file the claim online, but it was pretty easy and the check for payment on the claim was received quite quickly. Would definably consider purchasing this protection in the future.
