NOT FOR PHONES
I purchased this insurance with a phone for my son a year ago. The phone broke, and when I went to make a claim, they said since it was the wrong plan they would do nothing. BEWARE this is NOT FOR PHONES. They have a separate policy for phones.

Inexpensive protection for portable electronics
I had to have my smart watch repaired twice. The first time was very smooth. Got my watch back within a couple of weeks. The last time was within the last two weeks. My watch was lost and it was very difficult to find a good number to speak directly to someone to file a claim. Once I did finally talk to someone, I was told that I would receive an email within four hours. Nothing after four hours. After 48 hours I received emails from Asurion that my claim was processed. I received a credit for my original purchase price. I was able to purchase a replacement watch. I am very happy with the final result. It was just stressful trying to actually talk to a real person though the automated system.

Fast processing and resolution
The whole warranty claim process was lightning fast and easy. First, making the claim was very quick, easy, and guided online. 2 business days after I sent my item for repair, I received a confirmation that they had it and I would hear back within 5 days. A few hours later, they notified me that my item could not be repaired, and they are sending me an Amazon gift card so I purchase a replacement. Because Amazon had same day shipping on the item, I had my replacement in hand by 5pm. I will definitely purchase another warranty from them.
