I bought this soil for planting succulents, and it worked great! The soil wasn’t overly wet when I received it, which made it easy to use right away. I planted a large tray of propagation plants and two potted succulents. The soil controls moisture well and dries at a good rate for succulents. It smelled fresh and had small to medium particles, with a few tiny sticks and bark pieces. The plants set roots easily and experienced very little transplant shock. I’m happy with this soil and would buy it again!

Good soil but attract gnats
My plants seem to like this soil. However, now I have a gnat farm in my house which is very annoying. They are not sensitive to any folk remedies. I control watering closely so I am afraid it is associated with this potting mix.
