I”m nominating the designer of this product to the “Mail Order Assembly Engineer’s Hall of Fame!” To be sure, you will need to set aside a good hour to get this all put together. But the instructions are crystal clear; all of the parts are present, well-labeled, and fit easily together; it is heavy duty and has structural redundancies built in; it is highly functional; it looks great; and by all appearances it ought to last for at least a couple of decades. For whatever it is worth, I chose the two-bin model because it allows one of the chambers to finish composting while the other chamber is just beginning its journey. I know this sounds silly, but I can’t wait to start composting!

Roomy and tall dual compost bin
I’m new to composting and after reading numerous reviews and comparing bins, I chose this Marcytop for a few reasons. While a bit pricier at $129 -15% coupon, the 2 drums are larger at 22.5 gal each, the height is 43 inches once assembled, the garden appeal with the bright orange buckle inserts (green and yellow also available), and the ease of assembly. It was like LEGOs for adults and quite fun putting it together.The most difficult part of assembly is snapping the connecting brackets together. If you lay the panels flat, side by side, inside facing up, pushing down on the brackets with a little ‘umph’ snaps them together easily. DON’T FORGET to slide in the black plate inserts to each drum before closing the drum. (I almost did!)Once assembled and small screws applied, a second pair of hands is ideal to place the drums on the legs and fasten together. Since this bin does not have a thermometer, I purchased one separately to monitor the compost. Overall, this compost bin seems sturdy and durable and the exterior easy to clean with a water hose. Will repost in the near future and give feedback on how it stands in the Florida heat and storms.NOTE: There are no spare parts or extra screws.

Sturdy, & you need upper body strength for assembly
This review is written after a week of use and so far overall it was a good purchase. It can hold quite a bit in each of its two chambers, each one is easy to spin independently or it comes with a plastic plate to attach them for a united spin, and the assembly instructions are fairly clear even though the instructions don’t actually refer to the labeled part letters. You need a good amount of hand strength to snap the joint pieces together and I recommend an electric screwdriver over the included paint key-looking one. Looking forward to seeing how it wears overtime, and how quickly it can turn pet waste into usable compost (on inedible vegetation.)

Easy to assemble and problem free
I purchased this to sit next to my home garden. I used to have a composter years ago and loved how quickly it turns garden waste and leaves into nice rich compost.It really was easy to assemble if you take your time and follow the directions provided. I left my bins separated so they spin independent as I plan to fill one then move to the second one while the first decomposes. I have been using this for about a month now and it seems to be quality made for the price point.

Excellent customer service and well-built composter
I was looking for a rotating composter for kitchen waste. I compost yard waste separately in a large open pile. This was fairly easy to assemble and works very well so far. I don’t expect composting to be rapid because you need a larger volume (1 cubic meter/yard) to get effective internal temperatures. I hope it’ll be fast enough to keep pace with my kitchen waste. Assembly took about 1.5 hours. Although the instructions are not very good, I was able to figure them out and assemble the composter without making mistakes.My composter arrived with some small damage, but Marcy responded to my messages quickly and sent a replacement very quickly. Excellent customer service!

Good product. I wish it had a larger door on the drums to evacuate compost. Also wish it had a handle to turn the drum. Good product though. Setup is not difficult.
