Did the trick
I was so scared cutting my dogs nails for the first time and I did exactly what I was afraid of and nicked my baby’s back paws nails and I sprinkled some of this and it stopped the bleeding in less then 2 seconds , I was relieved and my dog was too I’m sure ! Great products and easy to use. It’s a white powder so it’s easy to see where it’s going on the pup.

Every dog should have this in their med kit! You may never need it, but for the one time you do, you’ll be happy you have it. It worked on contact to stop the bleeding and it never bleed again. Apply it with a Qtip as only a little is needed. I’m not sure if it was painful but our dog didn’t seem to mind. And the dog didn’t try to clean it off either so I assume it never hurt. The dog was probably just as relieved as we were the bleeding stopped so fast. And I was the hero for having it in the med supplies.

A great safety product to have on hand.
I’ve only had to use this once but it was well worth it… you dip your dog’s paw into it quickly in case you nick him when cutting his nails. You know how hard it can be to cut a dog’s nails. But having this on hand gives you a little more confidence that if something goes wrong, you can stop the bleeding immediately. A simple, but well worth it, remedy. Excellent price too.

Bought this because I have cut into the quick when trimming my Buster’s toe nails before. The only thing I had on hand was a band aid. I applied it to the foot and of course I had to tape it to the hair on his foot and leg. After a while, the bleeding did stop. Then I had fun getting the band aid off his fur. After a while I finally eased the band aid off using Witchazel and a lot of patients.I was trimming his toenails yesterday and cut into the quick on one of his nails. It immediately started bleeding heavily. I already had a jar of Dogswell and a damp cloth handy. I picked up a bit of power with the cloth and applied it to the bleeding toenail. Shortly the bleeding stopped with no apparent pain. Was really glad I had this stuff. I very seldom cut into the quick, but it does happen once in a while. Good stuff.

I’m glad I had this on hand. My dogs nails are dark and it’s really hard to see the quick. I try really hard not to take too much off and not cause any discomfort. Even though I have had no problems l numerous times over the years this one time her nail bled some (I felt horrible) but this worked so well and quickly. I was at least a little relieved. Would recommend to other pet owners who’s nails are dark coloured as well.
