Review of Felt Furniture Sliders for Hardwood Floors X-PROTECTOR 8 PCS 4 3/4” – Furniture Slider with Unique Design – Heavy-Duty Furniture Movers for Hard Surfaces – Felt Sliders – Move Your Furniture Easily!I ordered these to use on the legs of my dryer that sits atop a dryer stand. I have hardwood floors, and I needed to pull it away from the wall to do maintenance and change the vent duct. These, and a lift tool, were a lot cheaper than an appliance mat that slides under as you tilt the appliance. I found these to be the same quality as some different sized, name brand sliders that I had on hand. Plus, these had a recessed interior. I hope they are as durable as they appear to be because I just left them under the dryer legs for the next time I need to slide it out.

Nice, Protective Slides
These are nice, well made furniture slides. They are thick, with a nice felt bottom. I’m using them for a heavy coffee table on LVP flooring. I can move the table myself easily to clean under the table. There are no scratch marks on the floors.

Good for my Heavy Patio Chairs
Great solution for moving my rather heavy patio recliner chairs around on my patio. It is easy for a leg to pop over the edge of the short lip and off the slider, if one leg rises up a bit while you are sliding it, so it’s probably best for heavy items. They didn’t work well for my lighter dining room chairs because that happened all the time. You have to be sure to press down as you slide.

Can slide my piano!
Felt furniture protectors from X-Protector allowed me to slide my piano on hardwood floors! My piano was on piano castors installed by my piano mover. Because of its location, it has gotten dirty and dingy behind the piano with no easy way to access and clean. I needed something to help me periodically slide the piano out to clean the area. Eventhough I doubted it, these sliders allowes me to slide the piano in all directions a few feet! Researched many options, including the costlier “cradle piano castor” solution, and was so happy that this worked instead of spending $250 on cradle castors. My piano is on the smaller side, I believe it to be a spinnet style standup piano, so it’s not too huge and the 4 1/2 wide sliders worked perfectly.

Life Saver for New home
The product was a heaven sent since I moved into a home with all hardwood floors. Didn’t want to scratch them up so I put these under kids dresser, cabinets and other furniture pieces. I bought some larger ones for the beds, sofa and the book shelves. Great product and loved that it had the built in space so my furniture would not create an ugly crease while protecting the floors. Furniture slides easily and safely. Love it! Highly recommend.
