    TATTOOS BEWARE
Ive had this watch for a week and the pros are so much more than the cons.Battery life is amazing, lasted me 3 full days on one charge.Love the customization of the watch faces. The device is fast and all monitors work seemlessly EXCEPT the heart rate monitor. The heartrate monitor (depending on how saturated your tattoo ink is in the area) does not work through tattoo ink. You can see in my photos on my non dominant arm with tattoos it does not get a reading but on my dominant arm without tattoos it gets a reading. If you have tattoos and plan on getting a smart watch this is not the one for you.

    Great for new fitness plan
I have decided I need to be healthier. So this Fitbit helps me move and keeps me honest. I love the functionality of it. The small band is perfect for my small wrist. It’s easy to use and very accurate with all the stats.

    More for your money!
Fitbit charges quickly, user friendly, looks great, has many tracking functions and by far the best. Fitbit user over a decade and received an Apple Watch as a birthday gift, but had to go back to my Fitbit. It’s not about the name, but getting the best quality for your bucks! It performs better for me than the Apple Watch.

    Works pretty good.
It works well except it doesn’t record all my sleep at night. If I go to bed at 1am, it starts at 3:50am so I don’t get a full night of data. Do not like that about it but otherwise I like it. I like how it looks.

a tool that just made me angrier everyday – not worth your money
i was a diehard fitbit customer since 2016. over the past several years the quality has steadily degraded since google purchased fitbit and overhauled all the software that actually worked with the product. i would have recommended fitbit for years but now i would warn people against it.Major cons: life/durability, connectivity and functionalityDurability: i bought my first fitbit sense in December 22 and it died by December 23. I bought this fitbit sense 2 in January 2024 and now it is experiencing the same charging issue. the charging prong connections get clogged over time due to sweat or dirt, but i cleaned this one more regularly than the previous one and it stopped charging much earlier. I can still kind of get the new one to work if I stand and hold the charger there and wiggle it around till it connects, then gently place it and make sure it doesn’t disconnect, but it is definitely on it’s way out. It used to stay charged for 5 days on one charge if I didn’t use GPS, now it is 2-3 days and I have to be super careful about not letting it get to zero because it is impossible to tell if it is connected once it dies fully. EDIT: I wrote this review July 20, 2024; as of August 20, 2024 the Fitbit sense 2 will not charge no matter what I do so I cannot even reset it or update it because it won’t turn on. Don’t waste your money (I also have 4 sense chargers & none work – it is definitely the watch)Connectivity: every single time I open the fitbit app it is a fight to sync the device and takes probably about 15-30 mins on average to get to work. it is infuriating, and when it does finally sync, half the information doesn’t show up correctly so you have to try to run it again or wait another 15-30 minutes for that to show up. Two nights ago I was trying to sync for over 2 hours. This is really frustrating while I’m in the middle of a workout, especially a run where I don’t want to stop and fiddle with my watch/phone, or when I’m trying to quickly check my stats on the goFunctionality: This isn’t the WORST thing about it – it does its job for tracking for the most part. I have lost a lot of sleep data due to the connectivity and app issues though which was a big factor I purchased the sense rather than the apple watch initially so I’m annoyed about that. They also got rid of all the social features in the app in January. I also learned recently you don’t have to pay a premium subscription for a lot of the analytics (sleep, cardio health, etc) you do on Fitbit if you get a garmin or apple watch. Sometimes I feel like the tracking is lagging compared to its competitors, it feels like google is just stagnating Fitbit using its established consumer base until they can get more marketshare with the pixel watch.Pros: appearance, comfort, technically does what it says, just not very wellAll that being said, if it wouldn’t keep dying within a year of purchase and it would actually connect to my phone/the app actually worked I would probably buy another sense next just because I am familiar with it, it does the trick, and it has all my past data. However it doesn’t seem like that will be improving so I will have to switch on my next fitness tracker I have to buy, which will probably be quite soon unfortunately. EDIT: i will not ever buy a sense again actually, see previous edit

    Water Resistant to 10 Meters
Accurate time. Easy to setup, use, and charge. Synchronize to app on phone. May functions. Best of all it is water resistant to 10 meters.

Great replacement for my Versa 2 that stopped working!
After my Fitbit Versa 2 stopped working, I decided it was time to buy a nicer Fitbit. I had been eying the Sense 2 for quite sometime. The battery lasts for a week to a week and a half. It also seems to be a lot more accurate than the Versa 2. It also does not have any issues with Bluetooth pairing with my phone like the Fitbit versa 2 did. I snagged the Sense 2 when it was $70 off! I am overall pleased with my purchase. This is my third Fitbit, my others lasted 2-3 years. I’m hoping this one lasts just as long if not longer! If you are stuck between deciding on the Versa 4 or Sense 2, I would recommend getting the Sense 2 as it is more accurate and has more features!

The Fitbit Sense included, as part of it’s operation, the Google Assistant app, this Fitbit was more expensive but did not! Why?
