Worth the money!
For less than $60 this thing packs a punch! Comes with 2 batteries (only last 20ish minutes each), case, charger, extra chain, safety glasses, and saw. Works great with branches, even small trees up to 6″ in diameter (anything bigger you can cut in half from one side then switch to the other and meet in the middle)!! I was able to clear 2 trees that were over 10′ tall quick. I love the locking featute so there’s no accidental slips, and it’s super light so it’s easy to hold with one hand.Only downside is the engine heats up after 15min of continuous use. I was working on thicker branches so it’s not surprising. For quick projects or yard jobs this lil guy fits the bill perfectly. If you wanna feel like a badass lumberjack in your suburban home, or trim your neighbors trees that grow over your side of the fence, this deathblade is what you need!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Nice little “gadget”
Was looking for something to help cut down a few branches here and there, and to prune a few trees/bushes.This does the job, here are my takeaways.Never used a small chainsaw before so I didn’t know what to expect. The bigger ones have obviously more control of movement and cut because of the power behind it.This one has a good torque.Comes with 2 batteries and a plug-in charger. They charge quickly un about 2 hours or less, and hold the charge for a while. I’ve used it for a couple hours on and off, and it still has a charge. It cuts better a thicker branch (or very small tree) than it does thin ones because of the flexibility and movement you get from the branch itself. So it’s a bit “bouncy”, make sure you have control of both the branch and the chainsaw.Comes with gloves. DO WEAR them. And find better ones too (I’ll be looking: these aren’t that thick or super protective).Reason being, the first cut I made, I was holding on to the branch and I thought it’d just cut through but it bounced back and hit me on the other hand. I was lucky I let go of the trigger fast enough, and that the glove part stopped the chain, cause it put a hole on the glove, and it’d probably have cut my thumb. (Ugh!) That’s my bad, I didn’t expect that recoil; it may probably be a bit of inexperience with such smaller tool, and a bit of the fact that it’s so lightweight and you are the one that needs to have more control over it.That said, it cuts through great, but a lot of smaller branches get ripped a little, and edges aren’t a clean cut.The tip part of the chain cuts better in that sense, so change the angle you’re using it at. Keep your other hand several inches from the cut, for the above reasons! Now the important part: the oil. There’s a little bottle that’s for the oil for you to keep the chainsaw greased. There’s a trick to open it to fill, which I did not think about it until I started pulling and squeezing the tiny vessel: the top part just pulls out, opening to fill. It could be done better or identified in the manual. There is also no place on the chainsaw to put the oil in for it to self-distribute. You actually have to oil the chain itself. How often? I don’t know. It is not explained in the booklet. (This part isn’t addressed at all other than in a small picture at beginning of booklet). And this is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. After how many cuts is one supposed to oil the chain??Speaking of the booklet, there’s not much in there other than for how to change or tighten chain, plus safety/warning info. It should have a bit more detail imho. That all said, I read reviews on a lot of other chainsaw before choosing this one. It also had a plus at time of purchase, a $20 off coupon, and let’s not forget the 2 batteries it comes with. Those were my deciding factors. I picked the pink one cause it matched some of my other tools (silly I know-but reviews were pretty positive on this model).I have no idea how long this tool will last. But for around $50 I’m not complaining too much. I’m glad I figured out the oil bottle, cause I wasted a lot of bar chain oil from my bigger jug just to get the blade oiled, and it’s messy. All in all I like it, and I’d buy it again.

Useful tool!
I had several small shrubs and a few small limbs on trees that I needed to have cut down. The prices quoted to me were unreasonable especially because I knew I could do it with the right tool. I didn’t want to get a regular sized chainsaw. This did the trick. It was easy to use, lightweight and more powerful than I thought it would be. Well worth the price!!!

Zeeksaw Mini Chainsaw 6 Inch Cordless,
If some are getting this, after years of cutting down trees, landscaping – you know what you are getting and can evaluate it well enough. However for a “new” to this person and for the price I got it for – I can recommend it. However, if you are “casual” or clumsy in ANY manner – use it the first time with someone who may mentor you in safety. Yes, it’s far smaller than even the smallest gas powered, e.g. 16″ chain saw, et alia – however no less dangerous – more so ? – since may take it for granted. So, if the components hold up, motor, batteries, charger, esp past a second season of use – it is a bargain.I had a 4″ last season and this spring one batt pk didn’t work and could not be fixed, and OEM no longer sells – (get another batt?). However, *this* one even at 21v (vs 36v of other and questioned it anyway!) … works perfectly and so the charger all interchangeable. (They all appear this year to be 21v and same housing, configuration – generally speaking “generic-china” offering, in my observation, imo.)Anyway, this 6″ is great and +- if a 4″ is better or not. I was pruning fruit trees last year for 4″ was better for that. This year – other stuff and the 6″ is generally “better” +-.In any of these if get 2-batts and 2-chains – great. Most probably won’t know how to sharpen, and may change to 2nd one – don’t hit dirt, esp rocks and will last as-is long enough for the “home” project person. The plastic housing is heavy enough in all the components. This one with the twist nut not requiring a wrench to tighten chain is *great. The “screw” to adjust that further – would do well to provide a thumb adjustment too! The screw is tight and hard to get to – but functional. All in all, pending price point and if it lasts – great purchase imo. – I saw he ones with “oilers” but wondered if worth the + money and etc. On a “real” chainsaw, so to speak, it’s a must. Her just keep a can of hand pump engine oil, or a spray as you like. You may likely have to oil the chain 1 – 3 x’s per battery and clean it prior to storing. When “new” it *will* stretch (the chain) and settle in and you will have to adjust it in the first hour or so of use. Then should settle down. If it binds more and more and not from the Batt running down – oil it, clean it out, wipe it off when take a break.Again, if it lasts, but since appears interchangeable as commented, this one was the right price and lowest. This whole “power” and amps and volts stuff with this kind of thing, generally speaking is all “iffy” in my experience. This one, rated lower than last years operates/feels more robust all around. If anyone knows math and DC current and test “environments” and etc. – don’t count on stuff being up to any precise spec from what I can see. They want them to work, and not bind so will likely make them to be functional – as I see/experience it – look at that with this stuff as I did – it’s far less confusing. This one seems, w/o testing it with meters and etc. to be what they say it is. So, good enough in that regard for me – to qualify this of why 5-stars and etc. “over all”. It could be better as I said, the blade tension adj screw – external thumb or less tight a spot and some kind of “proper” (proper) oiler would be great.I like that when/if binds (the chain) it stops (a good thing) and mostly when batt runs down – but, just back off or mind proper cutting protocol and keep the fresh batt handy. But at least one won’t risk seeing blue smoke – if kept trying to cut like an AC unit may – good self protection I see in these.I hope that helps someone!(PS: for the price of a new batt to replace my old one – got this! And so, 2-batts and add’l charger etc.)

Must buy
Three words, yes, yes, and yes. Works great on even larger limbs, convenient size and carry case. Long lasting batteries. Must have in any yard.

More powerful than I expected
This mini chainsaw has more power than I anticipated. It goes thru branches with ease, the machine feels light but sturdy, unlike the carrying case and battery charger which feel very cheap and flimsy.

I am an older woman who just wanted a simple, small chainsaw to cut down the branches that fall off our trees every winter without having to count on anyone else’s help. This chain saw is small, light and easy to use. I have only used it twice, each time for about an hour. I did not have to change the battery either time. The chainsaw fit in my hand comfortably and cut the limbs, 1-4″ in diameter, smoothly. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants something simple and light. In fact, when my husband saw how easy it was to use, he came out to help with the work without even being asked. I did have an issue with the chainsaw early on (probably caused by my complete lack of knowledge in the tool) but the customer service rep, Anna, was incredibly helpful and she rectified the situation quickly. Both the chainsaw and the customer service were better than I could have hoped for. Just a couple of tips for newbies to chainsaws, when you have to tighten the chain, loosen the cover about a 1/4 of a turn and then tighten the screw for the chain to about 2mm (or 1/16″) give. When chain is tightened, then tighten the cover FIRMLY. Check the chain often when using, although we found that once we figured out how tight to make the chain, AND TO VERY FIRMLY TIGHTEN THE COVER, the chain stayed snug throughout the job. I now understand the appeal of power tools, even if it is a lil power tool 🙂

I have a blue spruce in the front corner of the yard that is about 40 feet tall. I had to clean up the bottom branches as they were starting to encroach onto the sidewalk and road on the other side. After an initial charge of both batteries I set out to prune the bottom 8 feet of branches. The saw worked extremely well and met my expectations. It was easy to handle and not heavy at all making this pruning job much easier as it allowed me to use one hand to hold the branch and the other to cut with. A full size chain saw would have required another person to hold and move branches. Clean up after the work was easy and I put everything back in the convenient case that the product came in. It came with a full spare chain which I did not need to use but have once the original one becomes dull. The only thing that was a struggle was that as I used the saw the chain became loose over time and needed to be re-tightened frequently. Also, would have been nice had they included a small bottle of chain oil as I did not have any and had to purchase it separately after cleaning up the blade to store it. Overall I recommend this handy tool for any home owner for small projects and give it a 4 gold star rating.

I purchased this small saw to use while on my trail walks on my 40 acres of land. I didn’t want to lug around a small gas powered chainsaw whenever I encountered a small downed tree or branch that needed to be removed trimmed. This little thing is quite a fun saw to use and can actually cut some solid branches. It is light enough to bring in a small pack and battery life is quite good.Do fill up the little oil bottle provided with some chain oil and put some on I’d say every 8 or so branch cut… but a little goes a long way. (some have complained that there was no oil provided in the bottle, but that’s normal since there are restrictions on some flamable liquids with some shippers). Oil can be found at your local H/W store for cheap anyways!Do not purchase this saw at this price and expect nice protection glasses and gloves.. those are cheaply made.. but just the saw is well worth the purchase.

It makes quick work cutting up to 5 inch diameter tree. The battery life is good enough for my purpose which is to collect good quality wood for making bonfire that lasts around 6 hours. I used up the first battery and 20% of the second battery to make at least 15 cuts of around 4 inch diameter tree trunks. And this was done in around -2 °C, its only going to get colder this winter and I hope the battery can keep up.There is some safety involved, but I intuitively learned, bad wood makes wood pieces get stuck inside the saw, its better to remove the bark before making the cut and don’t try to cut anything smaller than 2 inch diameter, it just risky and can be bad for the saw, axe is good for that.I like how its easy to open and clean. I used some biodegradable oil to keep it lubed up and happy :)My only small complain would be that the box is not properly molded for the batteries and other accessories that come with it, so stuff rattles inside the box as I carry it in my 50L backpack. But having the box alone is a big Plus since I don’t want to toss the chainsaw directly in my bag, a recommendation would be to have some kind of chain cover then I wouldn’t need to carry the box.
