Fantastic Practice Amp
This amp is a great practice amp that CAN actually make one a better guitar player. If all of the capabilities are used, the player can have great sound & a plethora of tools to make the job easier, including: (1) a great tuner on the cellphone (2) nice metronome with drums (3) functional looper & playback (4) great access to backing tracks (5) AI based sound modeling (6) huge online library of created models (7) ability to create your on models from scratch or based on another model (8) ability to AI model a band / song sound (9) on amp controls in addition to the phone app for more flexibility (10) great native sound (11) bluetooth playback (12) usable size & weight (13) solid construction & great looks. I would definitely purchase this amp again. Best bang for buck available.

All you need in a practice amp
Love the size and weight, sound and tone, all controls, can use a rechargeable battery (ordered), 8 preset positions, ability to change and modify presets, Bluetooth and wifi work great, play with original music and/or backing tracks, and a great app with AI that helps find presets you want. All at a reasonable affordable price. Well made and solid with no rattles. I only wish the gig bag was lower in price, or I would have bought it

User friendly. Versatile. Beautiful.
I was in the market for a new amp to practice with because my current setup was cumbersome and dated. I am a beginner to intermediate guitar player for reference. The first thing I noticed was the striking look of this amplifier. I love the white color, gold trim accents, as well as the deep red of the handle’s underside. It looks great and the Mrs. approves when I have this sitting on the desk or table.During my first setup I knew this would be a much more enjoyable experience than my previous, dated amp and my Zoom digital effects pedal. The 8 built-in guitar tones are great and I found myself chugging in Drop-D for an hour before I even connected the phone app.Holy cow does this little amp pack a punch! I don’t know how loud this gets because I’m sure my neighbors would complain if I went past half volume on it.I use YouTube all the time for guitar tutorials as well as backing tracks. I appreciate being able to play the lessons through the speakers and hearing my guitar at the same time. Yeah, you can also use this as a bluetooth speaker and it sounds great. If you want there is an option for a battery. There is a door on the bottom of the amp for the proprietary battery (sold separately). You can take this thing tailgating with music or play some sick riffs anywhere you want. The accompanying app will allow you to configure new guitar tones and set them as one of the 8 guitar tones. There is also a built-in looper that I know was missing on the 1st version of the spark. It works like it should. Finally, there is the option for expansion with the built-in outputs on the back. When I become a rock star, I will be able to tap into the venue’s sound system or a larger amp and still use the Spark 2 as my guitar effects pedal.Overall, I have really enjoyed this amp and I have practiced more in the past week than I have in years due the ease of set-up and bluetooth connectivity. I know I have barely scratched the surface on this amazing little amp and I’ll try to post an update in 6 months to a year.In the meantime, keep rockin’.

WOW.. Technology is just crazy these days!! (this thing is good!!)
10! 5/5! It’s simply perfect. The tone, and the “tube-sound” is crazy!! Plenty low-end! Crisp bright tinny, chimey highs. Tons of flexibility, and PORTABLE. It has a HANDLE!! LOL. This gets the award for best single piece of music/guitar gear of the YEAR!! Oh, the app to control all the amps with it, is FREE!!!Tiny tiny downsides.. no footswitch at all.. and no battery (they cost $80 EACH). It does inclde an AC/DC power cord though, btw.

partly good, partly bad
There is a lot to like about the amp… but many things to dislike. It sounds great mostly aside from having to calm down the tremendous bass and it is giggable for small gigs along with availability of the Spark cab. They did listen to people complaining that the line out muted the speaker thereby making it unusabvle for a monitor on stage but they fixed that and now you can turn that on and off. Customer service is has no way to talk to a human. I had ordered the Mooer 30i and it was very good but did not have the depth or the slick app and is not really giggable unless you run out to a power amp but the amp and speaker sims really make it possible to dial in your tones. It also had a LOT more stomp boxes as well as an included battery. The Spark has no cabinet models, which on th Mooer were wonderful. Spark has very few amp sim choices and NO CABINET MODELS. You can get a little more coverage by buying packages for $19.95. for instance a Hendrix packackage. Very few choices compared to Mooer on effects. More glitches than the Mooer in the software, strange arifacts show up in the sound occasionally. not enough good Fender or Vox models but there are1 or 2 . I will be looking for something which I can run along with the amp with better sims. I am currently trying to find a place to download the app from someplace other than Google Play because if I get an amazon 10 inch fire tablet to run it, one of them has a note that apps cannot be downloaded from Play. I hate proprietary crap but it is the best deal on a fast tablet. My old samsung is too slow and has some delays which are irritating. I do like the Spark 2 very much aside from these issues.

You can dial in any tone on this incredible amp. Such an amazing practice tool and so much more. I believe you could gig this Little amp with the Postiive Grid cab to give a little more head room. Also sounds amazing as a Bluetooth speaker.

I have a lot of practice amps, and I have issues with all of them, such as lack of features, or poor sound quality, and poor audio playback quality etc. This is the first amp I’ve bought which can quite literally do it all, and do it all absolutely effortlessly. The list of features, effects, sounds, is completely endless. And the fact that you can use AI to effortlessly pull tones from your favourite songs is such a cool feature.I also have this as a centerpiece in my living room, because it also works as a fantastic sounding bluetooth speaker, something that none of my other practice amps can do, and end up sounding terrible. This really is the amp that can do everything, could not recommend it enough. You really do get what you pay for.
