Perfect for adult looking and kid friendly
Look nice, slip resistant, water resistant and wipes clean easily! Great value for placemats that can stand up to kids but don’t look like kid mats. Buying a second set in another color.

Very nice. The colors are great. The material is soft and flexible, but heat resistant, stain resistant, easy to wipe clean. Does not look or feel cheap. Perfect size. These are even better than I expected when I ordered them. I’m very happy. I ordered 2 colors, and I am planning to order a few more, for variety/seasonal changes.

Nice and Works Well For the Purpose
These are nice placemats for everyday use. They are thick so nothing leaks through, and easy to wipe off. I wish they were about an inch larger. They are a little smaller than what I really wanted, but I am going to keep them as overall they work well for me.

I was on the search for some placemats and didn’t want any cheap thin ones. I found these and decided to get them.These are quite lovely, they’re a vinyl-like material and not cloth so they’re durable! I also didn’t realize the pattern is actually textured and not just a print. It’s beautiful! I included a close-up picture. The color is a dark red which is my favorite. They’re also super easy to clean and so far have been fairly heat resistant for dishes although I’m not sure about extremely hot plates.Overall, highly recommend and I’ll probably get more in other colors!

Pretty AND protective!
Executive summary: * Spillproof * Easy clean up * Stay in place without sticking to table * Stay flat * Pleasant color (yellow) * Highly recommended!You probably already know that when it comes to place mats, there are a LOT of options.But, many of them have a woven design that either traps food or allows it to pass through to the table. Yuck either way.These Romanstile Vinyl Placemats are S-O-L-I-D and truly prevent anything from passing through them.They also have a light surface texture (see pic) that strikes a balance between being sticky and slippery. Objects placed on them can be moved but do not slide.We use them on a teak table and the same applies; they do not slide but can be moved.But, the texture is not too deep so they can be easily cleaned.They are substantial enough that they consistently lay flat.Finally, color. We ordered yellow and it’s a reasonably close match to what we see on screen. We like that the shade is not bright (i.e. tacky) and compliments our dishware.

I’m picky about my placemats 🙂 They have to look good but also be easy to wipe clean.I’m really happy with these and they are a good weight (not too light/flimsy, but not too heavy or thick either). They sit really flat and nice on the table (unlike other ones I’ve had that ripple or slide around on the table). These have a very slightly ‘rubbery’ feel and are flexible. I like them so much that I bought another set of the same colour, more as a backup as I don’t want to be without them. I ordered the same colour a year later, and wondered if a different lot would mean that the colours didn’t match my first order, but they perfectly matched.

They lay flat, are easy to clean and look fantastic. Make sure you wipe up anything that stains quickly otherwise there could be small staining. Great purchase! I would definitely buy again
