Lifesaver for My White Couch!
I used Scotchgard Fabric Water Shield on my couch and throw pillows, and it works AMAZING. I have a white couch, and this product has saved me so many times! Thanks to Scotchgard, I’ve been able to clean hot sauce and chocolate stains so much easier than I ever thought possible.A quick tip: the smell is really strong when you first spray it, so make sure to open some windows and let it vent for a few hours afterward.Overall, this is a must-have if you want to protect your furniture and keep it looking fresh and clean. Highly recommend!

waterproofed my *ugg* slippers
used this to waterproof my ugg dupe slippers! so far it has worked great and it was an easy application! Did not change the color of the suede material at all and there is no scent to my slippers either. 10/10 recommend!

Works great but the smell while applying is awful
Like that it protects furniture, but the smell when applying/after is straight up awful and overpowering. Had windows open, fans going, still bad. I did couch/loveseat. I recommend doing outdoors or in open garage (away from any flame) if possible. The smell is headache/asthma inducing inside, even with air flow.

Best stuff ever
We have used this many times. It is a little bit of a trick putting it on, but after the prep it is pretty easy.We put it on when new and later if needed. Out high top chairs get a lot of use, so they need it about once a year. We take all chairs out to the garage. We put down tarps to protect the floor. We scrub the chairs clean with an upholstery attachment to out carpet cleaner. Let dry thoroughly. Then spray away. We wipe down any non-fabric areas immediately. let dry and bring back in. It does take us two days.This process has saved our $200 each chairs from many potentially horrific spills (eg. spaghetti, juice and more).We will buy again and again and again…..

Furniture protection that’s easy to apply and dries quickly. This allows my furniture to have an extra protection from any spills. It’s easy to apply and extends the life of my furniture. The protection works well. I’ve been using stock guard for many years. The cost of the spray is well worth it because it saves my furniture.

I just bought a beautiful linen sofa and wanted to make sure to protect it right away as we have 4 kids and 2 dogs. I saw there were two pain fabric protector and both looked good so I figured why not buy them both and test them side by side on a spare white pillow case. I had three sections.The left was scotchguard.The middle was untreated.The right was stain guard.I spilled chocolate milk ALL over to see how each section would react and both them worked well. I then took the pillow case and let the chocolate milk run off and then went inside to wipe it with a damp towel.Scotchguard was the clear winner in protecting fabric!Stain guard was good (and it was better than the untreated section) but not as good as scotchguard.I just finished spraying the couch and it was super easy to apply the spray evenly. Only con was the smell and fumes. But certainly we’ll worth it to protect the fabric from any kind of spill. If you’re trying to decide which one to get, now you know!

Essentials for my footwear.
I purchased the 3M spray water protector mainly for my shoes, sneakers and boots. Any of my suede or nubuck footwear get the spray. It works well, no color damage and it really protects from water damage. My shoes have a longer life span because of this spay. It works for leather and vinyl also.

My family and I live on the couch. First time we’ve gone light colored. Used all three cans on a 10 foot couch. So far so good. Yeah it stinks a little bit, but it soon dissipates. No color change when dry.
