Powerful entry level Circular Saw
This Skil Circular Saw is a great entry level saw for a craftsman or homeowner. The quality is there and It is quite powerful for such a low price point. It rips through 2 x 4 and plywood with the greatest of ease! I highly recommend adding this saw to your tool chest!

Another nice saw from Skil.
I like the power; it just glides through a heavier piece of wood. I like the laser feature. I like the sturdy feel of the saw and the rubberized grips. The canvas case the saw comes with keeps it clean when stored. I also like how easy it is to register a Skil product for its warranty. The price was really good as well.

Recommend changing the blade to something with a higher tooth count. Seems the lower tooth count blades are really aggressive at cutting and are more prone to kicking back.

Excellent saw for the home user
Excellent value for the money. Wired fantastic! The laser is bright and helped me make straight cuts. I was using my grandfathers vintage craftsman saw for the past 25 years and I wanted to retire it before it was worn out. This Skil saw is perfect and will serve me for many many years. It’s built well, MUCH easier to use and maneuver and lasted makes it very accurate. Included blade for perfect for cutting 4×8 plywood and zips through 2x4s like a knife through butter. It also comes with a nice carry bag that fits the saw perfectly, and zips closed. I would recommend this to any home user.

Wonderful saw for the price
This saw has been wonderful. The 15A motor is strong enough for consistent cutting through tough materials. The laser cutting guide makes it super easy set up ad-hoc cuts quickly. The carrying bag is a bit flimsy but is a nice addition. This particular listing does not come with any additional cutting guides.

For the home this is a nice tool. For the times your doing a little project this saw is handy. Ok quality does what it supposed to do and does it well…no complaints!

Excellent features and power for the price
Great value for the price. As a homeowner I needed a light to medium duty device with a great value to power price. And the included laser is really a must have not a nice to have for the occasional user.

I had to replace a 25 year old Skill saw that has faithfully served me as a contractor. The old one’s motor started to smell and had less power. The new one, I think, has a more powerful motor than my old one. I hope it lasts as long as the previous one.
