Perfect to protect my Stressless sofa
Nice product, triple stitched and fits nicely. I had another sofa cover that was way too enormous, and not a good fit, but this one is just the right size to take on and off. I recently adopted a 9 year old ex feral whos super sweet, but life threw him a curveball. Before I got him he had a massive infection from an accident, and he lost his rear left leg. The rescue group realized how gentle and kind he was, so they bent over backwards to save him, despite being FIV. (Last year I adopted a matched pair of cats with this autoimmunity issue, so this rescue group knew I had a big house on a pond, well suited for ex ferals. 77′ screened in lanai, with tons of wildlife. And they knew I had room for a third cat. This cats story was featured in a local magazine on page 1, which was nice. It showed how older down on their luck cats can help wounded veterans, benefiting both) I took a hit in US Army aviation, ending my flight status. My doctors suggested I get a kitten, so I found a crazy kitten at a dog shelter, he thought he was a dog. If he perceived someone as being a threat to me, he’s chase them out of the house. I live near Siesta Key, when friends came to visit these world class beaches, they’d stay in a hotel, rather than risk the wrath of my cat, I miss him, he helped me as much as I helped him. So now I keep three cats ever since. Back to this product, my new three legged cat is getting used to his new normal of being indoors only. His anxiety he takes out on cat scratching cardboard cat scratchers, I have at least a dozen in the house, and half a dozen on the lanai, just for his anxiety, and to save my furniture. I got this cover to protect my Ekorne sofa for when this cat sits next to me. A few times he’s tried to scratch this sofa, but this cover protects this expensive sofa, until he figures out what he should scratch and what not to, this product is a lifesaver (or in my case, sofa saver).

Our Dogs Use it Without Complaint
Dogs can be smelly. They can also have issues holding their bladder and keeping the contents of their stomachs in their stomachs! As a blanket connoisseur, it pains me to see one of our favorite blankets spoiled by the bodily fluids of one of our dogs. Well, I mean…. until we wash the blanket in question.Enter the Smiry Waterproof dog blanket! It looked like a grey packing blanket… but it is softer and …. wait for it… it is waterproof! The waterproof coating means that the vomit/pee/filth does not soak into the blanket, but it can be gently wiped up by someone other than your teenage daughter (who won’t go near the stuff).We use this blanket in our car to help protect our seats. Because, unlike blankets our car seats are not machine washable.Notes– The blanket is reasonably soft. No dogs have complained- It looks like a grey packing blanket. Again, no dogs have complained about the looks- It is, in fact, waterproof. You can feel it on the slick surface of the balnket.

Neutral Color, Reversible. Thin and Lightweight.
This neutrally colored, waterproof cover has yet to be fully tested at our house, though it has been on a bed where our two small, elderly dogs like to sleep. Because our pups are each intermittently incontinent and sometimes “leak,” I have been placing thick human incontinence bedding pads on top of the bed—a true eyesore. This cover is an upgrade and looks so much better.Since placing this new grey cover on the bed there have been no major puddles, so I cannot attest to how well this cover prevents liquid from getting through to the mattress below it. I go on faith that it does what it says it does, though it is thinner than the incontinence pads it replaces. I was expecting a thicker blanket cover, one with a bit of a velvety surface. It is not at all plush and not at all velvety. When I went back to view the ad images, I can see that I was perhaps imagining what I wanted this cover to be, but I can also imagine that others “see” the type of cover I assumed this to be. Be aware that the cover is quite light. It arrives in a compact roll inside a plastic bag. I ordered the smallest size but believe that a larger size would fit in my washing machine without a problem.
