Instructions for these solar lights are in extremely tiny print, so you will need a magnifying glass to read those. There is not enough clarity to let you know how to operate the lights, so I will detail my findings to make the process easy for you.The switches are inside each fixture. To access the switch you gently pull on the very top of the light fixture while holding the bottom of the enclosure. Moving the top cover back and forth with very little pulling force, it will eventually come out so you can turn on the switch. The cover should then be inserted completely back into the enclosure to ensure moisture will not get inside.The battery compartment is also accessed the same way. A tiny Philips screwdriver would be necessary to remove the cover.After engaging each switch, you must insert a plastic stake into the bottom of each fixture Be carefully inserting the tubes into the bottom of each fixture because it’s a very tight fit at the fixture base. The configuration of the stakes have 2 choices for the height with some “stackable” plastic tubes and a pointed insert to stick in the ground for stability.There is no plastic cover to remove from the solar panel even though the instructions mention there might be one. The instructions also mention that if you store these for a while, first charge to full for one day before storing. Also, you should repeat this procedure about once a month so the batteries will maintain the charging capability.The lights are clearly visible from the end of the block and look nice lining the walkway to the house. A single, intense array of LED lights inside each fixture emits enough light to clearly illuminate the walkway and a few feet surrounding the area.

Solid accent lighting for around the driveway!
So far these have been pretty good. They aren’t the brightest individually but when lit up all together they get the job done fairly well. A little torn on if I like the plastic inserts around them. I feel like they could get sun worn fast so I may try without as they don’t impact how much glow you get as it’s all LEDs. Also so far I’ve used them with only 1 pole. I feel like using both they’re way too tall. Especially with how tall the lights themselves are it becomes feet off the ground. Overall they’re simple and get the job done though. It helps light the way pulling it at night and walking so I don’t stumble over the railroad ties along my drive.

Beautiful pathway lights, don’t forget to flip switches to “on”, may not have replaceable batteries
I wanted to replace the pathway lights I have around my front garden and found this set.Installation is simple – attach the poles together, then the stakes and the fixtures. Once assembled, I placed them outside in the morning to charge. When the evening came, I noticed none turned on. Now, I probably should have read the instructions (if there were any, I don’t know), but I have a bad habit of not reading them. When I seen none came on, I lifted the tops off and found the switch. After all switches where turned on, all of the lights illuminated perfectly.All 12 work correctly and all hold around the same charge. The light color and output meets what I was hoping for. I will say that they are larger than I expected. With the poles in the ground at about stake-level, they stand probably just short of 1.5’.They are perfect for the replacements of my old lights and exactly what I had hoped they would look like. My only concern, which again I didn’t read the instructions, will be the batteries when it’s time to replace them. I could have replaced all of the batteries in my old lights, but I wanted something newer and brighter so just ordered all new lights. I didn’t see an area where the battery could be accessed, but once I determine if it can be, I will update the review.

Disappointing quality
These do work well, but they are tough to put together and very easy to break. You have to remove the tops to turn them on and need a screwdriver to do that – they are so tight. Also, be very careful when inserting the stakes. Those are also extremely tight and I ended up breaking one light base trying to push it in. The plexi coverings are fragile as well – one arrived broken and I can only assume it was poked by one of the stakes as they were loose in the box. The tips of the stakes bend very easily, as I found trying to push it into a container of soil. I would suggest pre-drilling a hole if you have hard soil. At first, I thought this was a heck of a deal with a dozen lights, but now I’m not so sure the value is there. These are not well made and too fragile, so I expect to be replacing them after a season or two. However, the solar panel works great and the lights are bright.

Nice Set of 12 Modern Looking Solar Lights
I needed some new sidewalk lights and these looked attractive in the pictures. They are smaller than I thought they would be, based on how they look in the images. (The dimensions are actually mentioned when you click on ‘product details’ in the listing, but rarely do I do that).It took me a bit to figure out how to get them to work as the directions were really small and I had to use a magnifying glass to read them. Once I figured out where the off/on switch was it made life easier, lol.They are definitely attractive looking versus the normal round sidewalk/patio solar lights.I also like the fact that you get 12 lights in the package instead of just a couple like some other solar lights. It’s a nice number of lights and allows me to cover the entire sidewalk area.

These solar lights are great! They’re bright, easy to install, and hold a charge well. Perfect for lighting up my front yard garden. They also look stylish and work even in rainy weather.
