I wear this bolero style UV protector under my polo shirts. It prevents my arms from sunburn but remains cool while doing activities like pickleball and golf.

Fits well and I like it
I’m someone who burns very easily and has extreme UV sensitivities, so when I saw this I jumped on it. I have many arm protection sleeves, but I’ve never had one that wraps around the shoulders and back.I worried it might be uncomfortable, because my shoulders are broader and my biceps aren’t thin. It isn’t. It’s very comfortable and the arm length is nice. I have longer arms, but the thumbhole doesn’t pull.It appears very well made, and the fabric is nice. I won’t be able to test how well the protection claims work for another month or two.So far, for the product alone, I’d give five stars. I dropped one star because the price is ridiculous to me. I almost didn’t select it to review for that reason, but… frankly, this is something that can improve my quality of life and I’m not in a position to spend that on such a product at this time. Even as someone who has to use this type of garment, the price bothers me.That aside, it’s well made, it fits well, and the fabric appears to be the kind that will actually work. I like it a lot.

Lightweight, true to size
I was torn between two sizes, I typically wear a medium in most clothing, but I have thick/fat arms. I was afraid a M would be too tight, so I sized up to a L, which ended up being marked L/XL, but I’m glad I did. I probably could have gone down to a M bc of the stretch, but I wouldn’t want it to constrict me when I’m paddling or swimming so I played it safe and got the bigger size. I do a lot of paddleboarding and while I don’t want to be hot when I’m boarding in the summer, I also don’t want to get burned. This will be perfect — super lightweight, thin, but will protect me from the sun without making me hotter and sweaty. I think this will look great with a black bikini top but keep me from having sunburned shoulders. This is great to keep handy if you don’t want to slather on more sunscreen, especially when youre already out on the water. Looks good, not too tight on me, but not super loose either. The material is silky and soft but super thin with same stretch. Super small so would pack easily or fit in a fanny pack or even a pocket probably. Glad I got this, almost want to order more in other colors.

Solbari makes TERRIFIC sun protection garments!
I’m very fair, with light eyes & freckles. My skin does not tan – I go straight to burn. I’ve Now in my 50s, I’m paying the price for those blistering burns from my childhood & have had to have a number of cancerous & precancerous lesions removed. I always wear sunblock, but that’s still not always enough to protect me from burns. I live in Texas where the sweltering summer sun is intense, so a couple of years ago when I was looking for sun blockers, I worried that a protective garment would be hot. Solbari comes from Australia, a county that knows a thing or two about heat, so I figured I’d give them a try. I was so glad I did!The fabric really is cooling, so not only does it not make you hotter, it actually provides some RELIEF from the heat!I got this shoulder wrap to wear when riding my bike. I especially appreciate that the sleeves extend over the backs of my hands and stay put with thumb holes, so my hands are protected on the handlebars.All in all, i highly recommend Solbari sun protection products.

Effective Sun Protection, But a Bit Pricey
The Solbari Women’s Shoulder Wrap provides excellent UPF50+ sun protection, which is a huge plus for outdoor activities. The cooling fabric is breathable and moisture-wicking, keeping me comfortable even in warm weather. However, it fits a bit tight, especially around the shoulders, so I’d recommend sizing up if you prefer a looser fit.While the product works well, I do think it’s a bit pricey for a small shrug. While I appreciate the quality and sun protection, I was expecting a bit more for the price. Still, it’s a good option for staying cool and protected in the sun.

Great Coverage and fit, I love this for after races
Fantastic shouler and upper back cover. I love that it came with a reusable plastic zipper bag, so you can travel with it and it’s easy to find. It is lightweighr and folds up nicely to tuck away. I used this for after my 5k race, and it was the perfect fit and coverage for me. I was warm immediately after the race, but it got a little cooler and I need sun coverage in Florida. Love the thumbholes.

Easy to keep in my bag
This compacts small (even comes in a pouch) to keep easily in my bag and slip on when needed for sun protection rather than having to hide in the shade or lather up with sun lotion. Light weight, comfortable, good thumbholes for full coverage.
