The Games We Play
$0.00
“You don’t have to choose, Baby.”
Ali had been content keeping to herself and staying hidden from her abusive ex. But when she meets two seemingly ordinary guys, Cam and Kace, the three of them develop an unexpected friendship that makes Ali feel like herself for the first time in years.
Cam and Kace aren’t just ordinary guys, though. They’re superstars in the Atlanta sports world, with their names and faces plastered all over town. But Ali didn’t know that, and they didn’t tell her the truth.
A lie that was never intended to hurt anyone. But their little game ends up bringing danger back into Ali’s life, putting her at risk and causing her to push them away.
For Cam and Kace, walking away from Ali isn’t an option. They both want her. They both want to protect her. And despite being unable to choose between them, she can’t seem to say no to their game plan. With her ex lurking and her feelings for Cam and Kace growing more intense, Ali has to navigate the danger as well as the societal expectations of her new relationship. A balancing act that proves to be harder than she anticipated.
Will they succumb to the pressure? Or is this a game they can win together?
Contains mature themes.

This was SO GOOD! I love menage romances.
Kace (professional baseball player) and Cam (#1 quarterback in the NFL) have been best friends since they were children. Sharing everything is something they’re used to.. but they never thought they would want to share a woman. Ali has no idea who they really are. She’s too busy hiding from an abusive ex and taking care of her only friend. So many elements to this! I absolutely LOVED every second!! Both Kace and Cam are such possessive and protective men, and exactly what Ali needs in her life. The adoration they all have for each other is so natural and beautiful. I’ve never been more jealous of a relationship.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Super Sweet Why Choose Read
Why choose? I really enjoyed this fast paced and well plotted romance. The characters were wholesome and sweet. The villain was a complete garbage human, as villains are known to be. This story operated on a level of naïveté that is rarely seen in the mlb/nfl sports world and I think that is what worked to make it a stand out. There was a much welcome absence of unnecessary dialog and cliched/overused phrases, which gave this book a fresh and unprocessed note that my voracious and jaded reading streak had been lacking. Normally to cleanse my palate from my standard dark romance fare, I’ll completely change genres, but this little story was a great choice to clear the cobwebs and purge the monotony. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶🌶 🔥🔥

Potential
I really wanted to love this story and all of the tropes were there. Just a little flat to me. DNF but mostly because the kindle version I read had so many spelling and editing errors. Some paragraphs even repeated one right after the other. Still think there is potential and I gave 3 stars because it’s something I could never do.

First Katie Rae was amazing!!
My first Katie Rae book was a big hit. While I had bought it a while ago, a friend told me it was something I need to jump into. So so glad she did! These characters warmed my heart. The plot was well written, kept my attention and made me not want to put it down. I got close to the end thinking, “NO, I want more!” Lots of spice! I’m always down for a good MFM. Now I just wish it was on audio😉 If you’re on the fence about starting this series, do so, you won’t regret it!

really enjoyed this one
This book was addicting and I stayed up way past my bedtime reading it! Kace and Cam are lifelong best friends. While at a bar one night, they come to two realizations: first, their waitress, Ali, has no idea who they are, despite both being well known pro athletes; and second, they both want her. The two men have shared a lot over the years, but never a woman – until Ali.There’s a lot to unpack with Ali’s backstory, but basically, her ex is psycho and has a prominent role throughout the book. Kace and Cam go through great lengths to protect her, but Ali does well fighting for herself as well.I loved the dynamic between these three. They all had to learn what exactly they wanted out of this MFM throuple. It was really heartwarming to see the guys have such a deep friendship that each wanted the other to be truly happy with Ali. The spicy scenes were very well played – sometimes just Ali with one of the guys, sometimes all 3 were involved. And I really liked that we got two for one sports in this one as well – Baseball and Football!Katie was a new to me author, and I’m definitely excited to read more from this series!

So good! Everything I expected and more!
My oh my, this was my first MFM read and it was amazing!! You know a book is going to be good when you are laughing on the first page and fanning yourself by the end of the first chapter. This story was exactly what it promised…funny, steamy, a little taboo with an underlying darkness that had me on the edge of my seat with my heart racing. I loved Katie Rae’s writing style and can’t wait to jump into her next book!

Suspenseful Sports drama with why choose yes please
I saw a snippet of this book and saw 2 bestfriends and an introvert I was like sign me up. I have not read anything by Katie and now I want to read it all. Loved the brotherly love that cam and kace have that thryvwere so in tuned that going through all this with Ali was natural. It was so refreshing to read a why choose romance where thr men were navigating new waters as well. I’m a sucker for sport Romances but loved the suspense of this as well. Ali was such a good character to watch and just enjoy every moment of this journey with them.

Sports Why Choose
*Spoilers* This was really good. I enjoyed their relationship and that she didn’t know either one of them and they really liked that about her. There was also the right level of drama. I really enjoyed this one I may need to find more by this author.

The blurb for this story tells you everything you need to know. A new author to me and also the author’s debut. This is a lust at first sight read and their relationship moves quickly. There’s no angst but there’s an abusive ex causing trouble.

I swooned so hard over Cam and Kace! Their characters were lovable, and Ali was so easy to like! The story was great, the development and arc were incredible and I just really enjoyed this book! This author was recently caught up in some of the recent issues within the community with her book be returned unnecessarily due to a similar name, which is what made me pick it up in the first place, but I’m so glad I did!
