I originally bought the two pack of 9x3x1’ beds. They went together very fast and looked good in my garden so I immediately ordered another two pack. They arrived quickly and we assembled them today and placed them. We are very pleased. They are fairly sturdy and I only had one cut from being careless.

Easy to assemble – Looks nice – Great value
This is not the most heavy-duty garden bed, but it does what’s needed, and at a great value. I like unpainted galvanized steel because I had bad luck with painted steel in the past. If I wanted a painted bed, the best solution would be to purchase a painted model and spray paint it yourself with a good rustoleum paint and you’ll be better off in the long run, plus you can customize the color.I have an 8×2 space in front of my wife’s ‘she-shed’ porch. Although the bed length states 8FT (96”) when assembling the 8x2x1-1/2 design, the overall length was about 8’ 1-5/8”. In my case it didn’t matter because one end was open, but if you have limited space be aware. It took me 15 minutes to assemble.I noticed some reviewers stated, “the screws are way too short”, “My middle pieces are not screwed together because the screws were way too short”, and “The assembly was challenging because the 3 rods that are intended to be the center supports are really not long enough”. The instructions are literally on one page of pictures, but you need to ensure, just like the pictures show, that the letters stamped on the frame (A & B) NEED to be on the INSIDE of the finished product. Otherwise, the galvanized panels will not be facing the correct direction when you install the four (4) center supports. This is likely the same reason reviews said the screws were too short. See my installed picture of the four center supports. If I had assembled the panels with the letters (A & B) on the outside, the center rods wouldn’t be long enough, and the bolts (not screws) wouldn’t be long enough to remedy the issue.The only tool you need is a Phillips head screwdriver to secure the 40 bolts to the 40 nuts. I assembled it in my living room to ensure it was flat, and it was light enough for me to carry easily outside myself. I just stood inside the bed, with the center supports just in front of me, picked it up from the sides and walked it outside (perfectly balanced weight in front and behind me. Little white gloves were included in the box. You may want to use these or your own gloves while carrying the bed. Helps prevent cuts.Pay attention to the four side supports (thick steel). They have a notch, and this notch should be near the bottom of the bed. Four skinny steel stakes are in the package, which I believe are meant to slide through each notch and go into the ground. It’s not heavy duty, but it should prevent the bed from moving while you shovel dirt into it.

Good Quality, Great Price, Easy to Assemble BUT Read This First
Excellent price. Quality met my expectations. Didn’t have a problem with sharp edges or other assembly issues described in reviews of many other metal raised beds. The assembly instructions are a bit weak or maybe I didn’t pay enough attention. I had to take some parts apart and reassemble because I did it wrong. The sides are part A. The ends are part B. Make sure the letters are upright, not upside down. Do that, take a minute to really look carefully at the instructions and it will be easy.

Wow! Were we surprised by the design and quality of this inexpensive garden box. It was easy to assemble and went fairly quickly. The supports seemed wimpy but once installed they worked great. We have it filled but not planted. Looks great and I like the plastic corner guards on top for added protection from sharp edges. Also the folded top edge adds strength and safety. Hopefully it will work great!
