OH lord have mercy THIS BOOK is a PLAGUE.
I was thrilled when it arrived. I met the Amazon driver at the door and opened the packaging right there on the doorstep. After tasting the desire to do more woodworking with hand tools as opposed to my big, expensive shop electrical tools, I wanted to not only hold, feel and smell the pages of a book again (as I grow weary of staring at my phone to read my e-books) I flipped through the pages, enjoying the bright and crisp pages of glossy parchment, embellished with an equal measure of text and high quality images. It was at this moment, I noticed something peculiar. Something….off. Something that was immediately noticeable, but somehow escaped the attention of the seller, who happens to have the title “EDITORS OF FINE WOODWORKING”It was such an overt complication, it was almost covert, had I not had the god given gift of EYEBALLS, I might not have noticed such vicious treachery. I flipped the book around a number of times, just to ensure that I did not, in fact, lose my mind to the dreaded illness, “ass-backwarditis”Nay, the pox had not stricken me, I was sane and in remarkable, Greek Olympian tier health. My astute and accurate assessment was correct: the book, starting upon page 29/92 and ending on page 188/881, the book had abruptly and without warning, been printed upside down, and by extension, backwards.Yes, dearest reader, you read that correctly, and you probably read it from left to right and top to bottom. It had not been printed to appease the American/English speaking reader, writer, or busboy. It made me so dreadfully stricken with disgust I had no choice but to mutter quietly to myself “Aw geez dude, that sucks.”I fear I shant recover. The pain of having to deal with such atrocious outrage would be too much to bear. I lie here, upon my deathbed, the reaper stands before me, and I fear not the traversed tome of board shortening will finally do me in, no, but the question “Was the book printed upside down, or was I standing upside down? What is down? What is up???? WHATS LEFT?! WHAT IS, LORD JESUS, RIGHT??!?!?!1111?1?!!?”The man in black beckons to me. I must go. My personal rosetta stone of tree molesting in hand. Thus, I bid thee farewell.
