I love this thing. It’s very easy to use. The iron heats up in no time at all. The helping hands are so useful to have and work great. Make sure you use the included wrench to tighten them down really well so they won’t move on you. The included sponge, once wet, fits the holder great. The solder holder works as expected, though I wish there was a way to better secure the rod. Not a big enough deal to lose a star over, in my opinion. Overall, if you’re needing an affordable, all-in-one soldering station, you really can’t go wrong with this.

Great set up and heats up fast!
I had a very old soldering iron that took a long time to heat up. I work on electronics every now and then and wanted something that was a bit faster. This was perfect! I love the stand and clamps for holding items to work on and the speed it heats up is great.Comes with lots of other items and tips for specific work, and they are good quality! I really am glad I got this. I repaired two electronic items that were going to be thrown out and now work fine.Highly recommend this kit, it works great!

I’ve used this to repair game consoles and computer parts, it has everything one needs to solder components, especially for a beginner.Pro’s:Easy to use.Has variety of tips, two arms, and sponge pad.Quick, accurate temperature control.No problems after 1 year of use on over 30+ solder jobs.Cons:I think the tip quality could be better, be sure to clean tips often after use. (Cheap replacement tips for +-$20)Arm strength could be better. Must angle arms correctly for a steady and strong hold on pcb boards.

Tip not heating up correctly (Update)
I bought this soldering iron for occasional use on guitar repairs. Since I do not solder daily, this looked like A good choice for light duty. The first time I used it, I set the temperature to 700 degrees, and try to tin the tip. Even though it was set to 700, it would not melt the supplied solder. After about three minutes, I was able to tin the tip, but still not able to transfer enough heat to tin a piece of wire. I held the tip to the wire for over one minute but, it still did not transfer enough heat for the wire to tin. I tried using leaded solder to rule out the possibility that the supplied led free solder was the problem, but got the same results. Since there are so many positive reviews, I am assuming that there is something wrong with this unit. I am going to give it another chance and exchange this one and see if a replacement will heat the tip more accurately, If the replacement works, I will update my review.Update:I just received my replacement two days ago and finally got a chance to test it. The replacement works fine. I’m giving this a 5-star review because I got it for occasional soldering projects. The package comes with everything one would need to get started, and for the amount of use that I will be giving it, it will probably last years. I doubt this device will hold up for more than a year with heavy use. It’s very functional but made of cheaper materials.

Amazing quality AND Value!
I’m blown away. I needed this for a Game boy Color project I have been wanting to work on that called for soldering one wire. I had never soldered before so I ordered a cheap kit off here that barely even heated up. I decided to put it away and try something nicer because something definitely felt off, despite never soldering before. This thing came the same day I ordered it, came packed with a whole bunch of nice little extras – several tips, a roll of soldering wire, a pair of tweezers and has built in “helping hands” which will definitely come in handy for a future project. The temperature control is fantastic, it heats up nice and quick and has a nifty little roll for your spool of soldering wire on the side and a nice little spot to place a wet sponge for cleaning the tip. Everything feels like good quality materials and it’s super easy to set up! I would say this is perfect for anyone looking to do some soldering no matter what their skill level is and doesn’t wanna spend a whole lot of money but still needs something reliable. I love how everything just fits together and nothing feels cheap, I love this thing!

Om first use itself, poor build quality is evident in all aspects. LED display never tells correct temperature. Knob is fiddly. Helping hands are useless. The holder for solder wire wobbles.NOTHING ABOUT THIS IS GOOD! I was misled by reviews.Takes forever to reach soldering temperature. Is short, GARBAGE. I have borrowed a friends soldering iron that cost him one tenth.On top of that, Why is Amazon selling 120 Volts products in India WITHOUT declaring this upfront!!! This means shelling out THOUSANDS for a good voltage converter on top of this garbage product. WHY???
