Fun basketball dice game!
We gave this game to my son as a birthday present, thinking it would be a good rainy-day activity for when he cannot get outside to shoot hoops. We had never seen it before and were hopeful that it would live up to the description on the packaging, and it has exceeded all of our expectations (not just his). The premise of this dice game is simple – you roll several specialized dice and based on the outcome determine if you score, get fouled, get the ball stolen or some other outcome. There’s a printed rulesheet that explains what to do for practically all outcomes of a roll, leaving little ambiguity during play. Each player gets a total of 24 possessions, 6 per quarter, and there is a stack of scoresheets for keeping track of the game. For a dice game there is a surprisingly comprehensive coverage of the real rules of basketball. There’s even a possibility of getting a slam dunk!A complete game can be played in about 15-20 mintes, even when referring to the rules frequently. The game is very well made. The dice are all made of hard plastic that are large and easy to read, and the throw cup is equally sturdy. The pouch in which the cup and dice fit for travel is a little on the cheaper side, being made of imitation vinyl, but this is not a serious concern if the game is cared for properly. The rules sheet is on the small side, so to account for the possible loss of the rule sheet I made a scan of it and printed it out as an 8.5″x11″ page. All of us have had fun playing this game! For the basketball nut, this is a fun and well-made game that is not overly expensive and can be played in a reasonable amount of time.

Fun table top basketball game!
Not a lot of parts to keep track of or large game board…8 dice pieces come in a little draw string bag, along with a cup that also fits in bag. You have to play it a few times to get used to the point values and meanings…the first few times is spent looking up everything…after a while the game goes a little faster. The score pad is a little big which takes away from it’s portability…it’s basically an 8.5 x 11 sheet cut down the middle or 4.25×11… I’m sure you can order more when you run out…Game does go quickly after a while and it is addicting!

Fun game
This was a gift for my sons 13th birthday. He likes to play board games and basketball. The directions were a little confusing at first, but once we got the hang of it, the game was easy to play. It is a quick game to play. It is purely luck, but fun.

Item Not As Pictured
I ordered this game to give as a gift, but once it got here, it was so small and unlike the photo that I’m embarrassed to give it. Now I’ve got to add something else to go with it, which is very frustrating. In the photo, the box looks big and it has a clear section on top filled with colorful dice. Instead, see the pic for what actually came, which is all of 5″ wide and has nothing on top.To be fair, I haven’t played the game yet so I don’t know if it’s any fun or not. But I do know that I didn’t expect to receive the “Travel Edition”. I just looked back into my orders to check, and in the header it does say “Play at Home or For Travel.” That’s a pretty deceitful way to say that’s it’s the travel edition, especially when the photo shows what I assume is the full sized version. It’s not worth the trouble of returning it, but I do feel cheated.

Great game!
This was a surprise for my 10 year old son, who is obsessed with all things basketball and NBA. He enjoys games a lot and this one is a lot of fun. Very easy to learn and something he can even do by himself when his brothers don’t want to play with him. Highly recommend.

Kids Love It
My kids love this game. They picked it up pretty quickly and its a game that is quick and can be a lot of fun. Not too difficult and gives the kids something to play other than a video game.
