Not just for seniors….
This book is excellent and while I love that it is tailored to Seniors, I am not a Senior – not far off but not quite there just yet. However, the book is easy to read and understand and has a great guide that explains correct form, repetitions, and sets. The exercises can be easily modified to make them easier or more challenging to do. The artwork is nice and modern. Today is a great day to start! It’s a solid 💯 from me!!! 💪 ❤️

Longevity
GREAT for seniors. Easy to follow. EXACT instructions. Accompanied with exact drawings of exercises. I’ve never been one to use exercises ( I like to walk) but this book makes it easy. And seniors really need these kinds of activities to stay healthy AND mobil.

Useful for senior fitness
I liked the 10 min. segments. With the serious arthritis can customize the exercise routine.

Easy to understand, not overwhelming
I am 75 an have had a difficult time sticking to any exercise program. This book is not overwhelming and it breaks it down into manageable activities. I am again, hopeful!

Exactly what I wanted
First let me say I preordered this book after watching some of Mr Deboo’s videos on YouTube and waited a good two months before it came out. Just received today, and I was not disappointed. Love the illustrations which are large and colorful. No problem seeing these at all and they are on every page. First part of book details the benefits of strength training, second part are the exercises and third part are short routines for different purposes. What I especially like about the third part is that there is a smaller picture of each exercise in brilliant color to jog your memory about what the exercise is. The exercises themselves are pretty basic and can be done with homemade props if you actually do not have handweights. They are also simple to do and let me tell you while a younger person might scoff at wall pushups, when you are old and stiff those easier options are so welcome. The exercises in this book might not turn you into a champion weight lifter or pump you up like a body builder, but they are doable for most of us oldies and that is exactly what I wanted.

Clear instructions, charming illustrations, comprehensive workout
I have learned so much from Ed Deboo’s free online videos that I felt obligated to buy his book, and I’m so glad I did! I just purchased three additional copies for friends who may finally be tempted to exercise based on the clear and simple guidance presented in this book. Every day I set my timer for 20 minutes and make my way through as many of the exercises as I can. Then the next day I pick up where I left off the day before. I appreciate the blank pages at the end of the book, because I am adding whatever additional exercises I want to include there. The book has a sweet and peaceful vibe that makes it easy to use. Thanks to the clarity and structure provided, I am getting stronger every day. My appreciation to you, Ed Deboo, for creating this excellent resource!

An excellent resource for everyone
I’ve seen Ed’s videos on YouTube, and found his exercises to be short and helpful. I liked the look of his book and preordered it. I received it this week and am thrilled with it! I’m transitioning out of Physical Therapy for an injury I had last summer, and the exercises in the book are familiar. It has routines that I’ll be able to use forever, so I can keep getting stronger! I’ve recommended this to several friends, and they have all picked it up too.I love the design of the book. It’s written so that each exercise starts at a beginner level, and tells how to advance as we get stronger. Each exercise is written over 2 pages, so you don’t have to flip pages. And the routines in the back have the page of each exercise so that you can easily refer to the instructions. I just found that the kindle version is on sale, so I bought that too! It will be great for traveling!

Excellent for those who have never exercised before. It has a lots of exercises which are concisely explained and illustrated. It’s also printed in semi large print so those with vision problem can read it. As an added benefit, the author gives options to make each exercise harder as you progress.Cartoon characters are used to demonstrate the exercises. Some might dislike them, but they show the proper execution of the exercises. e.g. what a lunge looks like, how far down your butt should go when doing a squat, etc.

It arrived quickly and it had the right level of easy exercises that I hope will help my Dad build up leg muscles etc. to increase steadiness (was looking for safe/useful/easy instructions he could try for building leg strength, and these look good for exactly that).
