Asurion protection plan was utilized after a chair with a broken piece went past the seller warranty. I spoke with a customer service rep to file the claim. Always buy the extended warranty
I always buy the extended warranty on big ticket items. I have purchased many on different products and have only used one. My item was refunded and I was able to purchase a new product within 24 hours. Asurion is easy to deal with. I love having that peace of mind with the added security.

Always get insurance, no matter what.
I loved the Serta, Bryce executive highback chair when I got it, but 4 months later the outer fake leather started flaking off, and not on the upper seat or back. The flakes came from the exterior bottom of the seat, where there is no contact from me or anyone, and it stuck to my hardwood floor I would have to take a plastic putty knife to get it off. Then the return or refund process started, it was past 90 days for Amazon to handle it, but I bought the Asurion protection policy, and extremely relieved that I did! Be safe not sorry!

Protection is a scam
We bought 2 chairs and also furniture protection. One chair arrive broken and not able to recline. For 3 weeks been trying to get the insurance protection to even just call me. What a scam!!!! Contacting the better business bureau. Amazon is selling protection that you can’t use!
