I knocked up my sister’s co-worker.
And I didn’t even know her name.
I know. This sounds really bad, but listen, I can explain.
To hockey fans, I’m known for my strength and skills on the ice.
To women, I’m known for my talent and endurance in the bedroom.
So, when a beautiful woman introduces herself as Amanda Hugginkiss and tells me the only vacation regret she has, is not hooking up with someone who could “rearrange her guts” – her words, not mine – who would I be to not give the pretty lady the happy ending she desires?
Amanda Hugginkiss, meet Ben Dover.
Yeah. It was like that, fake names and all, and dare I say, it was a climactic experience more thrilling than game seven of the Stanley Cup Finals.
After that night I’ve done nothing but think about Amanda Hugginkiss.
I miss her. I crave her. I’m desperate to experience that night with her again, but I have no way of knowing who she really is or how to find her.
Until she walks into my penthouse several months later with my sister…every bit as beautiful, and very, VERY pregnant.
Beyond the game is a steamy standalone hockey romance intended for readers 18yrs and older!

Such a good book
I loved this story! Who doesn’t love a sexy hockey player becoming a swoon worthy daddy? I’ll definitely be reading more stories by the author.

Ben and Amanda for a one night stand
Thank you Susan Renee for showing what happens after the birth of the baby and them getting together officially. Dex and Tate handled the relation with such maturity and I appreciated that there no big conflict between the characters. I appreciated how smooth the relationship went and especially that there was no third act breakup. It showed Tate handling her pregnancy well and though Dex freaks a little, he quickly came around and worshipped her and took such good care of her. Highly recommend if you want to read a nice smooth romance.

Quick and easy, feel good read. Wish it had more depth
The story was very cute and overall liked the book as a pallet cleanse from the darker books I’ve been reading lately. It’s not written as well as I would like. It was a little hard to keep up with some of the other characters if you’re reading this as a stand-alone. Who’s married to who. Adding some background details of the other characters so you can feel more depth in the connection they have with FMC and the MMC. There wasn’t much for character descriptions of the other characters either. Not enough to remember what they might look like, if there is any. Which is a shame because of how much Rory and Hawkins are mentioned. I would like to put some visuals into their names. I know it’s hard to describe how a baby might look, especially a newborn but there wasn’t even mention what the baby looked like either and she’s a pretty big part of the story.

Loved it
Oh my goodness I just loved Dex and Tatum story!! When they first met they did give their real names but there was such a strong connection! She was all he could think about and when he saw her again standing in his kitchen with his sister he was happy and surprised all at the same time! He wasn’t very nice at first but when he calmed down he knew he would do anything to have her in his life!! This is a must read!! I would recommend this book to everyone!

Dex + Tatum
Tatum is in Key West celebrating her divorce from her cheating husband and the start of this new phase in her life. The only thing she hasn’t checked off her vacation bucket list – hooking up with a stranger. When Dex meets Tatum and they hit it off immediately, it’s her chance to complete her bucket list before going back home to Michigan in the morning. Tatum and Dex give each other hilarious fake names, have a heated night together, and go their separate ways. 11 weeks later, Tatum is starting her new job in Chicago and finds out she’s pregnant with no idea the real name of the baby’s father to contact him. Dex hasn’t been able to stop thinking of the mystery woman from Key West, but the last thing he expected 7 months after their night together was for Tatum to walk into his home with his sister whom she works with. Tatum never expected the father of her baby to be a pro hockey player, but they will have to decide how to work together to make the best of their situation for their baby. This is such a good surprise pregnancy hockey romance! Tatum and Dex are hilarious, and I will never get over Dex’s “Transformers” pick up line. Their chemistry is amazing, and Dex is so committed to Tatum and their baby. His presents were next level. So so good!⭐️: 4/5🌶️: 1.5/5What to expect:🌸 hockey romance🌸 surprise pregnancy🌸 birth scene depicted on page🌸 found family🌸 pierced hero

All the feels
Dex and Tatum provide all the feels. You will laugh and fall in love with their story just as much as you will enjoy their heat. The best writing in the book has to be while Tatum gives birth. Nailed the scared new dad monologue. Makes me laugh just thinking about it.

Dex and Tate
*Spoilers* I just love these two characters, I enjoyed their back and forth flirting and rom-com personalities. Their entire love story was completely left up fate. Quick read, picked up the book and didn’t put it back down till I was finished.I think they equally fell hard for each other but honestly I think Tate fell first when she felt that first connection from their ONS, it took a while for Dex to realize why he was turning down other women. While Dex didn’t have a father growing up, he became the father he always wanted/need.Tate’s speech to Dex during her delivery was quite literally one of the best things I’ve read.Rory (Dex’s sister and Tate’s coworker) helps both MCs to see how the others feel about each other and gives both a much need push in the right direction. I love the HEA, don’t forget to read their extended epilogue offered at the end of the book!

I loved the witty banter between all the characters. Nothing makes me happier than reading a romance book that makes me laugh out loud literally.

This book did not disappoint, I love a good pregnancy trope and seeing the dads actually being involved and in so many ways! Loved it! Especially his little baskets of goodies

Having read the other two books i was intrigued to find out what would happen with Dexter Foster the player of the team…who usually only thinks with one brain…that is until a trip to Key West and chance meeting with an Amanda HugginkissAmanda is actually called Tatum who is on holiday celebrating changes in her life and excited to start over in a new place that is until she gets one change in her life she hadn’t planned on.Surprise Pregnancy isnt my favourite trope and I didnt like that rather than either think of other options theres alot of pressure to just ‘have the baby’ this coupled with “i cant be a single mum” put me off bits of this story… plus it felt very forced like Tatum basically has no other choices other than to be with Dex?I would of liked to see more strength and independence from Tatum rather than her ” ohhh i cant function without a man ” attitude in places.Dex is a great guy who steps up and does support Tatum and luckily all goes smoothly but as i say im just not a fan of surprise or unplanned pregnancy tropes but i stuck with it.Looking forward to reading the next in the series and FYI there are epilogues fir these books but you have to sign up to access them which i also dont like

This was an easy read and a little predictable. The FMC has a superb speech to get the MMC into action at the pointy end of her delivery!
