Bright as ever!
I am very pleased with these string lights. I read the reviews and felt pretty confident they were a good buy, and they did not disappoint. I installed them during the day so I did have to wait until after dusk to test them. They worked perfectly. I absolutely love the solar panel feature. I get excellent light in the backyard this time of year, so no issues even on cloudy days. I purchased two strings shown in my pic, but only need one remote to control them both I found. I did have to tighten a few of the bulbs, but no biggie. The kit came with plenty of zip ties which I really needed to attach to my arbors. This is definitely a quality set of string lights.

UPDATING MY REVIEW!I was able to contact the supplier about the issue and we went back and forth with information and pictures. They sent me a new solar panel (ended up being the problem) and they work great now. Solar panel charges well and holds a long charge. They look great when we’re camping!They’re really pretty once they’re on… Which I’ve seen only once. I have the solar panel soaking in sunlight all day and they won’t come on. They’re charged (I’m assuming since the indicator light is green), but once I turn the panel on for the blue light (it seems like that’s the on mode) as soon as I hit the on button on the remote, it goes back to green. Manufacturer website is zero help, I keep getting links to another site, and the instructions are terrible. They mostly explain the mounting process with a couple of tidbits of information regarding the functions of the lights and panel. It’s too late for me to be able to return them, so I’m stuck. Could be user error, of course, but how many people does it take to turn on a light bulb? Multiple, apparently, and it’s still not working. I’m bummed.

Pretty/easy to hang, but don’t turn on until SUPER dark out
These lights are so easy to hang – everything comes with it and I love that they have clips so they can clip onto the siding under my porch. They’re bright if you want them to be, super cozy, stay on long. The only thing I don’t like is that you don’t really know if they’re on or off. I guess the blue light tells you when you hold the power button in, but if the panel is somewhere high, like clamped on a gutter or fence, you can’t tell if its on. I think if you leave it on the lights will come on automatically, but there’s no clear visual for an on/off button, so sometimes if I click the on/off on the remote, it will turn everything off and the lights won’t come up automatically when it gets dark. The other thing I don’t like is that it has to be really dark for the lights to come on themselves. It was 8:50 here in PA April 30th and they finally came on. They won’t be able to go on until 10pm come summer. I wish they would turn on a little earlier or I wish you could turn them on yourself before it gets super dark.

These lights were perfect to light up my tent at a festival. The shatter proof bulbs are great! I love that is came with a nice remote. And the multiple light functions were fun. My only complaint would be that the lights weren’t a little brighter.

Ok, BAD CHOICE
Spent quite a bit of time researching solar lights for a small 10×10 gazebo we installed to cover our spa. Now, with that I’ve been running a lot of solar path lights, a solar grill gazebo light (single lamp) and rope lights for the other gazebo that covers our patio area and solar stair lights for the last few years. ALL these other solar lights retain battery strength for a minimum 4-5 hours of darkness in the shortest, least direct sunlight charging season and pretty much they all maintain 7-8 hours stay on time during the full sun season. We’ll, installed this set on October 20th 2014 and was happy how they looked and stayed lit for approximately 4 hours right out of the box. Figured the stay on time would extend even as the daylight is starting to wane. NOPE, after 2 weeks of use (and we have had some really cloudless bright sunny days for most of these 2 weeks) and these turd lights are dead within 1 hour. Pretty much guessing they come installed with some weak mah batteries or they are old and just don’t maintain energy long. Very disappointed in my choice after all the time I spent trying to find the right bulb, length of run etc. Terrible after spending the time to install too. I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone. Like I said, I have running solar type lights throughout my property and have been impressed by the length they all stay illuminated with maybe a couple exceptions where I had to swap batteries to re-juice them. I can tell right now these are going to be a complete PITA until I buy some good batteries. Probably just trash these things come spring and find a better set (shouldn’t be too hard to do) just stay away from this brand. Lesson learned.

Can work with a Pergola – Beautiful
I originally purchased a version of this product but in bigger bulbs 3 ft apart but could only go around outside perimeter of my pergola because of the bulb size. However with these smaller bulbs I was able to rig them so they sat above the pergola slide slots. This enabled me to not just go around the pergola but zig zag the lights as often seen across the middle which looked so much nicer. The larger bulb version may be slightly brighter individually but collectively the light cast is similar because these are closer together whereas the others are around 3 feet apart. So the light yield is comparable. Also, I noticed the remote on these would work from inside the house at a decent distance which I loved. This kit comes with screws and zip cables which really came in handy. Also this came with a spring clip to go with the good sized solar panel which made it easy to mount to collect the sun. This was an incredibly simple install. I don’t usually do reviews but I’m super happy with this product.

The package included all required fasteners you might need and installation was very easy. It says 25 bulbs because it’s actually 24 with one spare bulb. The solar panel can be charged by USB C if needed. I installed it out of the box to light up my gazebo and it looks really nice. I have it set to come on at dusk and run for 8 hours. The brightest setting is not super bright but not bad for solar lights. I use the 75% setting as it provides enough light and a nice atmosphere. No issues at all.

Extremely bright, we didn’t know if we had to charge them via usb or not so did it for 2 hours and then put them up to get sunlight and they came on that night. We did not get a remote control and can’t see if that is included when reading the product description. Very easy to put up, we used cable ties. Video is taken from a window but you can see they are very bright.

Like these lights, they were missing the 2 spare bulbs but otherwise nice lights. got them this afternoon, placed panel in the sun and tonight they lit up at dusk. Remote works good also. Just ordered another set. Now have 2 sets, one on the deck under cover and one in a garage. The idea was to be able to cook dinner on outdoor appliances and haul out generator and related equipment during the many power failures safely. These are great lights, really nice solar panel, HOWEVER , the remote for one set operates both sets of lights at the same time and not in a good way…when it turns on one set it turns off the other set. They will not work independently of each other!!! So instead of ordering a 3rd set back to shopping as we consider that to be a problem.
