Works great for small arts and crafts.
This is not a high powered tool for use in construction and home repairs. This is for small arts and crafts projects. I have had it for one day, and I have already customized a Star Trek communicator-keychain by removing the plain sticker array and replacing it with a customized lenticular array. Then I used it to customize some guns and gear for a GI Joe 12 inch action figure that I’ve made to resemble a character from my Rainbow 6 video game. In the future, I will use it to customize and/or repair several resin statues and figurines that need a little tlc.It came charged. Charging is easy, and it gives a green light when finished. 5 speeds are very useful. Built in light is ok, but not really necessary for me. Has plenty of attachments to suit every job. The round cutting disks are super efficient at making quick work of plastic or soft wood.My only complaint is that the unit does not have an “on-off” safety feature where if you drop it or otherwise lose control of it, (thereby releasing an “on-off” safety switch), the unit would shut down. This tool will just keep spinning until the 5 speed button is pressed repeatedly to the off position. This can be particularly dangerous if one is using the round cutting disk. So be warned.Other than that, the unit works great, and I am very happy with it. It comes with a nice case and the attachments are all boxed in 2 plastic holding containers inside the case. Everything fits neatly inside for storage. Overall, highly recommend, regardless of that one safety caveat.

It is a very handy tool. Light, easy to hold and manuverable.My grandson and I are both modelers, so we both will get good use out of it.It came in a nice hard case and with a selection of attachments.A good value at a very good price.

Perfect for Dog Nails
This isn’t an ultra sturdy rough and tumble product like the name brand rotary tool but it’s very lightweight, easy to hold, and perfect for light jobs.I bought it and use it primarily for trimming big dog nails, especially for the pups that don’t like the squeeze of traditional dog clippers. I use the barrel sander head.I was having difficulty holding on to my thicker and heavier name brand rotary tool whilst working with the dogs that would rather be somewhere else.I first tried a different product that was marketed just for dog nails and threw it out after the first use.This unit is also MUCH easier to hold for lightweight engraving than the name brand tool but it doesn’t carry as high as RPMs as my other so it wouldn’t be ideal for tougher materials or drilling.I’ve had this over a year. The battery still holds a charge and lasts long enough to do multiple sessions of nails without having to recharge.As long as the price remains low on these, I’m ok it’s not as sturdy as my name brand because it’s so much lighter and easier to hold and use.If this one quit I would buy another if the price was still low.Both tools have their best use function and this unit works great for the really lightweight jobs.

Don’t worry – the sandpaper bits do actually fit.
I got this to save time when sanding 3D prints after coating them with XTC-3D. It’s a powerful little tool and so far so good. My only gripe is the instructions are non-existent. I’d never used a rotary tool before and even tho you’d assume it’s gotta be straight forward, I was initially confused about how to fit the the little sandpaper bits onto the rotary. The Bits (There are a lot of them) Came into separate containers within the box, but it doesn’t Indicate anywhere in the packaging or on the website, which piece to use with the sandpaper. There is a black rubber bit that I assumed would be the natural choice, But the sandpaper slid off easily. The black piece is correct. You just need to screw the little screw at the top once the sandpapers on and the rubber will expand to fit the sandpaper. I watched three different YouTube videos before I figure that out.

I bought this product to thin my thick toenails. There are products available for nails, but I was looking for a product that was cordless, slim and could be taken into the bathroom. I already had accessories specifically for nail kits, so I made sure there was a wide range of collets available when I bought the product. In fact, there are six different types, which was enough for me. This is important because if there are no different types of collets, you have to look for them separately, which is time-consuming. I will not mention whether the included kit accessories are suitable for the purchaser as it depends on the individual, but the product is within the expected range for my application. If there is one drawback, I would like to see an instruction manual on how the use of the accompanying kit accessories can be utilized.
