Buy the bigger battery for it
This grinder works only with the bigger battery The smaller ones will die in 5 seconds on an full charge as the voltage drops to much. It has a high amp draw , it works well with the large 4.0 ah battery It’s easy to use and runs for about 2 minutes on a full charge . It’s a decent value for the quality received it’s heavy and feels durable . I have got a lot of use out of this cutter so far maybe few hours cutting already.

I really like this Craftsman grinder $40 when i got it. No complaints
It’s been some time since I wrote the review used it for about a year it does a good job overall gets the job done without much vibration it’s not too loud for the $40 I bought it at I think it’s well made tool has some good weight to it and I never had to really Force cut anything unless it was a awkward shape. To change the cutting disc is very easy and efficient keep you going on the job without much delay

Completing the power tool collection
I purchased a power tool combination kit by Craftsman and are now spoiled by them. This is one look that was not included in the package that I use intermittently. I have to stick with same brand because I have batteries that can be used with all these tools. These battery tools are so well designed not that they are as good as the corded counterpart. I will grab the batter tool over the corded one even when I am working near a plug. This grinder does suck the battery a lot faster than some of the other tools, its just a nature of how the tool works, I keep multiple larger batteries for this reason. If you get this tool you will want a couple of large batteries as will if you use it for any length of time. I am impressed with all their tools. They are very ergonomic, well constructed to take abuse and have lots of power. I use these tools a lot.

I thought it would be cheap made because the price was low but it felt like I am used to with craftsman, build quality is on top and very easy to use.Downside is that the button to lock the thread has to be played with to work, it’s a bit annoying in the beginning but once you get it it’s fairly easy, just a little too toughIt’s also not the fastest angle grinder if you look at the RPMs but it definitely gets the job done, I had no issues.
