Bought this as a gift for my son-in-law he loves it and uses it a lot. Good price and as for quality, I think Dewalt is a good dependable tool.

Excellent tool
I already have a corded DeWalt jigsaw, but wanted a cordless one. Bought this and LOVE it! Much more lightweight but with excellent power. The grip is more comfortable as well. Lastly, the older corded DeWalt I have has a strange winding way on the handle to a) release the blade, and b) replace the blade. I had to look at several utube videos to even begin to be able to replace a blade. And my blade would fall out after heavy use.(???) I am SO THRILLED at this DeWalt, where you just push a button and either remove or replace the blade. Would highly recommend!

A great jigsaw, smooth, powerful, easily controlled variable speed, quick tool less blade changes. A little heavy with 5 amp battery but makes for a more stable cut on thick wood.Highly recommend

Nice Jig Saw
This is the nicest jig saw I have ever owned. The weight is good and it is easy to control with the multiple speed settings. The trigger control is really good. It is easy to set angles. It is also easy to load and remove blades. With the correct size batteries it really balances out well.

Excellent quality. Purchased as a gift. The handle has great grip and the base plate functions smoothly. Arrived in an official Dewalt box with all attachments and the manual. The led light is helpful too.
