Football game with college teams. Realistic adjustments, such as homefield advantage and player fatigue. Makes it that much more interactive. Real teams playing with real stadiums, with real traditions and music. Was on a 10 year old boy’s Secret Santa wishlist. Upon opening, all the other kids were Oohing and Aaahing.Priced $35 at time of order and review, came sealed in clear plastic and in pristine condition. Also, same day delivery. Good game in an excellent franchise. Couldn’t wait for it to get here after a decade and played as expected. Maybe the 5 is more for nostalgia than actual game play, but was a great gift.

Long time coming
We’ve waited a long time on this one, so I gave it quite a bit of playing time before I decided to make a judgment on it.First, I’m incredibly happy to have a new college football game. I always did prefer the NCAA games to Madden, and that remains true. The added little extras like recruiting in dynasty mode just make the game more interesting to me.As far as actual gameplay goes, I do think this college football game feels a bit more like Madden than the older NCAA games did. There just doesn’t seem to be as much of a distinction as I remember in the older ones. That said, I haven’t played a college football game in 9 or 10 years, so I freely admit that I could be remembering them as more different than they actually were.I like, too, that this game seems a bit more challenging. In the older games, I could take a small school and after a couple of years in dynasty mode, I could just about run through everyone, rarely losing a game and competing for a national championship every year. That hasn’t been my experience with this game. I’m still having challenging matchups several years into my dynasty. I have run into some weirdness with how things work, though. In one of my seasons, for example, there was a 6-4 team ranked in the top 5 and once a team that was ranked No. 21 somehow made it into the playoffs. Definitely not realistic in those points.Overall, I’ve enjoyed playing college football again, and I’m happy it’s back.

I grew up in the 80s and gaming was a little less than impressive. One of my first games that I bought for my sega or PlayStation was college football. It was my favorite. Now I own it and am schooling my kids on the game. My sooners disappoint during the regular season, but they redeem their qualities when I they are my team on EA sports 25.

I bought this for my son’s 11th birthday. He was so excited to get his PS5 and this was the 1st game to arrive. He’s really enjoying this game and has played it all weekend. It’s very realistic. Purchased during Prime days, the sale price was great $42 vs $69. I could get 2 games for the price of 1.
