Hurricane Radio
Ian was my first major hurricane. I’d been through hurricanes before so I thought I knew what to expect. Not even. I expected to lose power and internet but we also completely lost cell service and had no idea what was going on for days. No news, no texting, calling, no anything. We were trapped and had zero outside contact and no idea what was going on or how much longer it would last. No power so no local TV. Couldn’t go outside to start the generator because it was so bad out. When I opened this I loled because it is so tiny. But after messing with it I think this is the coolest gadget I’ve ever owned. Everything on it works great. Noaa coming in loud and clear, regular FM also pretty clear. Lights are super bright. Very handy. I pray we never have another Ian but I’ll be happy to have this for any storm. I love that there are so many ways to charge it. Very handy. Also it kind of feels expensive if you know what I mean. Like it’s really solid and sleek.

Great for emergencies
I got this as an emergency back up battery for my phone, as well as being a NOAA radio and flashlight was a bonus. I wanted to get something that I could charge without power. This has the option of solar charging, and a must in survival scenarios, a hand crank. While it is true that the Solar charger is slow and the hand crank is slower, they will get you through. You can crank enough to get enough power to get out a text or a call. The hand crank can power the light and the radio better than it can charge the phone, but it still works. The hand crank is easy to turn and feels sturdy enough to crank without fear of breaking it off. The radio has NOAA as well as FM and AM. It has an antenna and works pretty well. Light is nice and bright. Hopefully you’ll never be in a scenario of prolonged power outage, but for the price the peace of mind is well worth it for me.

Great for a storm prep kit
I purchased this right before hurricane Milton hit in Florida, like it literally arrived two days before the storm and I am so glad it made it in time! We lost power very quickly and this allowed us to listen to the radio to hear what was going on. It was a little surreal when we heard over our green little flash light radio that the roof had been ripped off Tropicana Field. There was a little bit of static but no more than is to be expected with 100 mile an hour winds outside. It was very easy to turn on, just had to turn the dial. I charged it the night before the hurricane and we were able to use it the entire time our power was out which was about 8 hours straight before we turned it off and went to bed. It is also solar powered so if we needed to I could have charged it that way. It is very compact and the flash light was very bright on it. Highly recommend for adding to your storm prep kit.

Versatile
I Love This! I bought it as a backup radio in bad weather, but I find myself using it at work (outside). It’s been a while since I used a transistor radio, so it was kinda cool going “old school” listening to baseball games. The audio is clear with no problems in reception. It’s lightweight but sturdy, and I like the different charging options.

Ordered this to use during power outages. Has multi uses but most importantly the radio and the light. The better part of this little package is you can wind it up to charge it if the internal battery runs out or use the solar panel on it to charge. Also a nice little feature if you need to charge your phone there is a port to do that. The radio works well enough but feel it may be limited but it was picking up my local station good enough. Hope to not need it but I know I have it if I do.

Only flaw i see is the top light uses a very flimsy and small rubber button. Feels mushy and like its gonna break.

is a good build, very strong, and the crank can power it up, but will take very long time
