Excellent garden hose
This is probably the best garden hose I have ever had. I needed a hose that wouldn’t kink while being dragged on the ground (for a moving tractor style sprinkler) and my previous hose would kink. This Flexon hose does not kink and is extremely heavy duty and durable. The red color also makes it very easy for me to see and find in the grass. The ends are very durable and it uses a metal gasket rather than an o-ring which inevitable corrodes or gets lost. I have had no leaks when connecting the hose and it is easy to connect as well.This is definitely the best hose I have had and one of the least expensive as well.

(Edit below)With a great price and all the whining, I didn’t expect much. I opened it, stretched it in the sun, and let it heat stretched for an entire day before using it. I used it to water flowers all over my property, where it had infinite opportunities to kink, and never once tried to.It’s thick, and the fixtures are solid.If you can’t use this product, it’s not the product’s fault.Thank you.I’ll be here all week.Don’t forget to tip your servers.Update: This fall, my exterminator borrowed my hose to fill his tank. He put it away with a kink, and it sat in the sun for a few days like that. Now, it is permanently kinked. This is absolutely NOT the product’s fault. The blame solely rests on my exterminator. I will give him the kinked hose as a gift (it still works fine, but kinks very quickly when it’s moved around) and return to buy a new one this spring.I still stand by my statement: If you can’t use this product, it’s not the product’s fault.

Holds up
I’ve had mine in the yard under all kinds of weather and have ran wheeled equipment over it, and have had no problem. Far better than the usual hoses.

This hose it turns out is worse than my previous review of it, which follows below this update, in 70* and higher so far a high of 80 * this hose is stiff stiff as a coil of solid rubber, it just wants to remain in a coil, HORRIBLE to try and work with, GARBAGE, my sample of this product is as difficult to use as the cheapest plastic hose you could ever find , a waste of money. my original review follows.I just realized that this subpar hose is a sold as AMAZON suggested purchase, which gave me hope that this was of good quality and as good as the seller claimed it was, it is not! I will never again use Amazons recommendation to buy as a reason to buy a product, It is clear that whomever gives these recommendations to products has no real knowledge of what the product is, how it will be used, what is the expectations of the product is etc., I now feel it is nothing more than a boost to the seller or some other corporate deal to increase the sales no matter what. The price point was very good, the best part of this hose was the solid brass fittings, and even that was compromised by the female fitting having a very odd thin brass tubing sleeve inside of it that had very sharp edge on its circumference .The hose is fairly stiff and holds a memory when stored rolled up which is annoying. I thought this was a heavy duty rubber hose… seems more like a type of plastic and is lower quality medium duty. I am not buying more of these , this was a buy and try for the five more I need, so the search continues for a decently price HEAVY_DUTY hose.

The hose is durable and the fittings work well. I don’t like that it’s not very flexible even with warm weather.2024 After a summer of use the hose still wasn’t very flexible it did kink some and there’s white spots in places and what look to be a possible buldge.

This hose is NOT rubber! I purchased it thinking it was a good quality hose but it kinked up and bent in places and it was definitely NOT rubber. If you are looking for a good quality hose, don’t stop here. Keep looking because they are hard to find.

Hose works fine but it’s rigid and hood coil shape too well. When I tried to straighten it out it got kinked and now whenever I use it the kinks lock up and are hard to keep open
