brightens it up
I prefer wedge bulb lighting and especially plastic. My driveway is long, snaky and tilted at the end. people tend to run over my lights trying to get in and out. My snowblower also likes the taste of driveway lights so this is the most economical route for me to take. Also very easy to replace…squashed pieces out, click-click, new light in! Plus, the wedge bulb feature and the availability of colors in bulbs on this site allow me to light up in color for various holiday and sports seasons.

Just installed 12 of these around my house, porch and walk way. Nice warm color. They are pretty bright for 2.5 watt, more than I expected. Easy to install. Some complain about the connectors breaking but I didn’t have any trouble with them on heavy duty 12ga wire. Lead length is reasonable with about 10-12″ extending from the base for adjusting the location of the light. As it is I had to disconnect a couple from the wire and reconnect them to adjust positions to my liking. However that was easy and the connectors didn’t break. The only thing was I broke one of the plastic stakes but that was my fault trying to push it into a hard spot, slipped and snapped it. If you do have a hard spot, just use a metal spike or something to create a hole first.

No replacement bulbs.
One of 4 lights that I purchased stopped working. There is no bulb to replace and no way to get just one replacement light. If you buy these lights keep this in mind.

Equivalent OEM Replacement
These Paradise landscape lights are quite good, but since they’re always exposed to the elements – the plastic does deteriorate and get brittle, after 10-15 years. Luckily, this 4-unit pack is available and replacing old lights is very simple and straight-forward. Wish these were still available in single unit packs, but buying four wasn’t too steep an investment. Also wish it was made clear that these new unit come with pre-installed LED lights . . . which are slightly different than legacy lights (illumination). Fortunately, retrofitting the new units with the old light fixture (and bulbs) is fairly easy.

Real nice,lLights up my yard like a airport runway, but they have one issue…… Hyper flashing
These new lights sure beat the old bulb style. Brighter and uses less electricity. And making the connections to transformer power wires is a breeze. Only problem I’ve had since I bought them is….I have had two lights fail with in a few months. They went from a nice steady light to a “Hyper Flickering”.( like a fast turn signal) Once that happens, you just have to unplug it and salvage what you can for any future repairs…lens, wire connection and stake and toss the rest to a recycle bin. There is no customer support. Hopefully the company will fix this Hyper flashing issue. This is the reason for my 3 star rating. fix that and you will have 5 stars.
