A great product that was ordered in time of need
I used the HOTO Electric Screwdriver to assemble IKEA storage units, and it made the entire process incredibly smooth. After a hand injury, I was worried about the strain of manual tools, but this cordless screwdriver has been a lifesaver. Its compact design is comfortable to hold, and the three adjustable torque settings allowed me to work on various parts of the furniture without overtightening. The 12 included S2 metal bits covered all the screws I needed, and the built-in LED light was a great touch for those tricky corners. With its USB-C rechargeable 1500mAh battery, I didn’t have to worry about it running out mid-project. Overall, it’s a fantastic tool for both light and medium tasks—highly recommend it for anyone needing an efficient, easy-to-use screwdriver!

This is a game changer
As I work in manufacturing and I tend to have a lot of hands on jobs, I bought this out of curiosity. Overall, I love it and it’s definitely helped make my job easier. The design definitely looks very slick, almost like a water bottle if anything but I like it. The surface of the case and the driver itself is very smooth and not too slippery, but slippery. It has a strap handle at the top so I wouldn’t worry too much about dropping it. The tool itself has a rubbery texture around it for gripping. Not too “grippy” I would say, but I guess it just depends on how much moisture is on your hands. Also, I would definitely not put this in your tool bag like I did because the surface of the case will easily get scratched. Overall, definitely has a weight to it and it’s really well built. The fit in your hand is great as the tool isn’t too thick, so I think people with smaller hands can benefit from this tool a lot.The light feature is actually really great to improve visibility during your work as there’s many occasions where your working against the light in the shadow. The three setting torques are great, I honestly don’t really notice a difference in the RPM of the three torque settings but there’s definitely a stronger kickback with the higher torques. The drill bit holder honestly becomes a little cup, so it helps with keeping all your screws in one place instead of accidently flinging them off your table. The drill bit itself seems very sturdy and it’s nothing special so you can literally go to Home Depot, Amazon, buy any bit set and it’ll most likely fit on this tool. (My Makita bit set fits secure and easily).I have to remove a lot of covers at work to open up the machine and this was definitely a game changer. You can literally remove screws with one button and no more pushing, turning, what not. Lot less strain on my hands and arms. The only moment I feel this uneasiness is when I screw back in the screws, even the lowest torque will slip in your hand. Because there really isn’t a “grippy” texture, the moment the screw reaches it’s head, the screw slips in your hand with the torque’s backlash and you would need to firmly regrip the tool to properly torque the screw. Again, the torques aren’t strong enough to injure your wrist, and because it slips, it most likely won’t injure you.Final thoughts, I think this is great so far. The battery life hasn’t really caught my attention yet and I’ve yet to experience anything that I’ve read from other reviews. Time shall see but I don’t see this product going bad anytime soon.

well made, intuitive, powerful but lack of a variable speed makes it much less useful
I read a review of this on zdnet and figured I buy it to fill in the space between manual screwdrivers and the larger, clunky electric driver I have. The system has a nice sturdy feel and a ton of power. Bits are easy to swap out of the chuck but there’s not a lot of room to get them out of the base, so it can be a bit fiddly trying to get a hold of a bit to pull it out of the storage base.Another issue is the charger placement. If you want to leave it plugged in, you can’t do it with the top on. So they have this lovely compact case but they didn’t set up any way to charge the unit with the case closed. Instead you have to have the top off and the driver upside down in the base. Finally and most importantly to me is the lack of a variable speed. You put the bit in the screw slot and turn it on and if you don’t have a good grip, it just pops right out or worse, it strips the screw head. Even adjusting the torque doesn’t make much difference. If you’re just using it for easily accessible screws where you have a good hold on it and aren’t at any angle, it’s fine. If you’re under the kitchen sink with one hand on the garbage disposal and the other holding the driver at an angle trying to get it to turn slowly enough at the start to engage the threads – forget about it and use a manual screwdriver.***Update – I’m adding an extra star for superb customer service

This item is a luxury hand held electric screw driver, this thing feels and screams aesthetic. It feels amazing to the touch, feels heavy duty and not made of cheap plastics. The case is divine and holds all your bits and screw driver with a nice rubber hanging strap. Multiple speed settings for multiple types of jobs, if you’re a hobbyist don’t be afraid to spend a little more to get a lot more.Usb-C charging port is also amazing considering most inexpensive electronics are still using micro-usb.

Excellent quality. Powerful, not too fast to wreck the screw head or material to screw in. I am a tradesman. Before owning this screwdriver, I used a combi drill. But that is big and won’t fit in my toolbox. Had to go back to my van to get the drill when I only had to drive some screws in. This screwdriver fits in my toolbox and does the same job. It is powerful. Drives screws into wood with no problem. It’s not too fast to wreck the screw head. Battery seams to last. It has 3 torque settings and you can tell the difference. Most important it has the facility to turn it off and it’s not a button that can accidentally be pressed while squeezed with other tools in the toolbox and then make it to run and drain the battery like another electric screwdriver that I had before this. And it comes with various range of screw bits which are nicely fit in a rubber seating in the screwdriver casing so you can easily pull them out. It also has a LED circular light around the screw drive which lights the area you screw. Very useful in dark places. Will see how long it lasts. I have used it for a couple of weeks now and then, at least once a day. So far I can’t fault it. Before, I had a cheap one which was faster. But sometimes it was slipping over the screw head and when the screw was half way into the wood, it didn’t have the power to drive it in further. This one, if the wood is a bit hard, it slows down but it drives it all the way.

Use this magnificent tool every day. I use it to build models, fingers and odd jobs around the house. The tool fits perfectly in my hand and has plenty of torque. The tool in very well designed and made. I strongly recommend it for the handy person.

I bought this after returning a Vastar cordless driver which was rubbish. The contrast is like chalk and cheese. The torque control works, it is compact with a great grip, and the light is useful as it casts no shadow, being useful. Very handy and solid metal carrier with a selection of bits. Love it.

I like this screwdriver and it works well. But it loses one star because it needs a bit extender to get into tight spaces. Without that I find I am still using by standard screwdrivers a lot.
