The light wasn’t working initially, but amazon replaced it right away. Official NFL size, but easier to catch. Good buy for those just starting so they get used to catching a ball without breaking fingers.

Loved the Ball But Deflated after 3 Days of Usage
Gave this to my son (12) for a Christmas present. The ball looks great, easy to inflate, and easy to install batteries. The ball was great and really fun to throw at night; however, after about 3 days of normal passing he woke up to it deflated. I pumped it up again and can hear the air coming out of the edge so pretty dissatisfied that it did not last.Update 1/18/25 – Customer service reached out after this review and sent us replacement. I appreciate them being proactive and the interaction/receipt of the replacement was seamless and easy. I am updating the product stars to 4 based on the customer service. Hopefully, we do not run into the same issue.

My kiddo loves this. So do my husband and I. I like how it lights up to touch and you don’t do deal with an on off switch. Cool colors and great for griping. Great ball!

Better and Brighter than Expected
Over the winter it’s hard to keep our kids outside since it gets dark so early. This football has been a great way to get them back outside. Glows (lights up) much brighter than expected. We love it.

Poor quality
My son got this for Christmas this year. We pumped it up and it wouldn’t hold air. I sent it back for a replacement and the second one doesn’t hold air either! It pumps up once and then as soon as you hold it the air starts coming out again. I can’t find any place where I feel the air coming out. It must be the bladder inside has a hole. I’m obviously returning the second one as well. 0 stars. Would not recommend.

GREAT
My grandkids, 8, 9, and 14, who live in the southern US, were outside throwing a football in the dark and I don’t know how they caught it. Most of the time they didn’t.I ordered this football after I saw them play and it arrived within a few days, so I got to see them use it. It is easy to hold and a good weight, glows while in use and turns off when not. The battery is in a tight compartment and although it landed in their pool a couple of times, it was not affected.
