Great if you want to give a long lasting treat, or distracting your pup. Natural peanut, almond butter, or cooked sweet potato is great smeared on the mats. Easy to clean. Grip the floor well so they don’t slide around. Dogs love them.

My 135 pound Cane Corso had surgery to repair a torn ligament and will be in a crate and dog pen for 12 weeks while healing. He is not used to being in a crate, so I got him this lick mat hoping it would help with anxiety. First- I love that it came with 2! His little sister can enjoy a lick pad! ( she loved every second of it) Second- it definitely IS calming. My dog, who is currently on pain, anxiety and anti inflammatory medications (gracious me) flopped down , slowly licked every single morsel of the doggy peanut butter. He was thrilled. Third- it’s dishwasher safe. Fourth- it sticks to the floor. Get this!! It’s such a wonderful product.

Not very durable, but I also have a puppy
These lick mats were decently priced and they suction very well to my metal sink and my ceramic/stone counter tops. However, I have hardwood floors so the suction cups aren’t very effective at all when these mats are in use. My dog (1 year) is able to pick up her mat and take it with her to my living room rug in less than 30 seconds. My dog also has resorted to chewing holes in these mats when she can’t get any more peanut butter off with just her tongue. I bought these thinking they’d be a good tool to use to keep my puppy occupied for a little while so I can do things without her bothering me. I don’t leave her completely unsupervised with them, but I’m also not watching her every movement. Unless I’m watching her very closely, I can’t always differentiate between her licking the mat/picking it up with her teeth and her chewing holes in it. It’s also difficult to supervise her closely enough when the suction cups don’t work on my floors so she can go wherever she wants. My dog doesn’t generally chew things and I think the reason she chews these mats is because there’s peanut butter residue that she can’t get any other way. These lick mats are pretty difficult to clean, but that’s not unusual for this type of product. I have to soak mine in hot soapy water and then go at them with a scrub brush multiple times to get them clean. I have found that they don’t get very clean in my dishwasher, even after soaking them and scrubbing them briefly beforehand. But like I said, this is common for lick mats like this, and these mats aren’t harder to clean than any other type I’ve bought. (As you can see in the picture, they’re pretty tough to get 100% clean.) My one real issue with these is that the material is quite thin so they’re very flimsy. I have another lick mat without suction cups that I bought prior to these that is much more sturdy and she doesn’t chew holes through that. I find myself using that one over these new ones because the suction cups don’t work with my my floors anyway. Overall, if you’re willing to keep a very close eye on your dog while using these, you have a floor/surface these will suction to, and you don’t mind using some elbow grease to clean them, I’d recommend this product.

Dogs love it
These lick pads are great. I love the grooves. They are deep enough to spread mashed sweet potatoes, wet dog food, or whatever you like in them. I just pop them in the freezer for 30 minutes or overnight, so my dogs have a longer licking session. The suction pads haven’t worked for me yet. They are sticky. They stick to the inside of the sink when I am washing the lick pads. However, when I give my dog their frozen lick pad treat, they haven’t stuck to the laminate flooring. It’s probably because the pad is frozen and not shaped exactly flat. I also don’t push down hard to get it to stick since I don’t want to get my fingers dirty nor let any of the frozen goodies pop out of the grooves. It doesn’t matter though, because the mat doesn’t slide around when the dogs are enjoying their special treat.

Perfect for those lickers!
My teacup chihuahua is constantly licking, so these pads help her ease her licking. I’ll put liquids, doggy treats, and she loves licking away! I also like the suctions cups on the bottom that help the pad from moving while she uses. The quality is great, no complaints.

I bought this for my 70lbs Goldador and he loves it. It sticks to the surface really well and doesn’t move around at all when he’s licking it. The different textures are great and it’s very high quality. The size is perfect for him and it holds a good amount of food. I put peanut butter, Greek yogurt and smush berries on it and it holds it well but it is also not too difficult for the dog to get it out, however it keeps him occupied for a good enough of time. Great value for money. Sometimes I’ll put it in the freezer too and it works great. Easy to clean as well. Highly recommend.
