I’ve been daydreaming about the off-limits player for years, and resisting him just got harder…

As the team’s publicist, I desperately need a football player to be the face of our charity calendar. Turns out our one-time party boy receiver Jones Beckett needs a savvy PR woman to manage his new good guy rep.

Sounds like a simple give and take, even though I’ll be traveling around the country, snapping pictures of the sexy athlete holding rescue kittens and puppies. Still, I’m dedicated to my job, so I’ll stick to my iron-clad rule — don’t date a player. And never ever fall for one. No matter how charming, big-hearted and devilishly clever the man is.

Once I start spending my off-season days and nights with Jones, I’m following a brand new playbook, one that has me falling hard for the incorrigible flirt — heart, body and mind.

But my job is at stake, and I can’t afford to lose that as well as my heart.

5 STARS! Sweet & steamy sports romance!
Romantic comedies are my favorite stories to read, and when I want to curl up with one, Lauren Blakely’s are what come to my mind first. Whatever the trope, her spin on a romcom never fails to satisfy my craving, never lets me down and just seems to give me everything I’m hoping for when I pick one up. If you haven’t read Lauren Blakely’s work yet, and you’re a fan of the genre, then you’re truly missing out. I could wax poetic for hours about why you need to get her books in your hands, but I’ll sum it up with a simple fact. Blakely consistently crafts fantastically-written stories that are hot, hilarious and full of heartwarming romance. There’s so much more to them than just that, though, so do yourself a favor and read one of them. Most Likely to Score was charming and passionate, and it pulled me in from page one. Part forbidden workplace romance, part sports romance, Blakely gave her readers a fabulous couple to root for with a relatable, realistic heroine and a swoon worthy, sexy hero. Jones Beckett was a hero with so much heart – for the game of football, for the animals he donated his time to help and for the woman who captured his heart. A celebrated receiver on a winning NFL team, he needed to remake his public persona in the wake of one too many off-the-field fumbles. Hoping to turn the media’s attention from him as a playboy to him as a star player, he enlists the help of team publicist, Jillian Moore.Jillian has worked hard to build her stellar reputation as the Renegades’ squeaky-clean, whip smart PR director. She has earned the respect of her bosses, the players and the reporters—no small feat in the male dominated world of professional football. Harboring what she mistakenly assumes is an unrequited crush on Jones, she steps up to help create a more wholesome image of the pro baller, starting with a charitable project that has them working closely together. The problem is that the more time she spends with him, the less she sees him as the notoriously flirty, deliciously ripped, pretty face she’s been crushing on. She discovers a rough and tender side to Jones, and it’s an intoxicating combination that she’s no longer sure she can—or wants to—resist.Sweet and steamy, with just the right amount of angst, Blakely scored a touchdown with this hard-won love story. Tapping my Kindle furiously and smiling the whole way through, I devoured this story that I simply did not want to put down. Most Likely to Score by Lauren Blakely gets five smooches from me!~ Danielle

    Entertaining enjoyable book
I like this story about the party boy trying to be good with the help of a women. I’ve read some Lauren Blakely books and their all good entertainment but after a while I feel like the previous book is to similar to the next. That’s just my humble opinion and I still choose to read because they entertain me and is that not the purpose?Over to what I really like in this book:* No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings* Lots of fun dialogues* Hot and emotional love scenes* No over the top drama, thank goodness 😅* Good communication between the main characters, for the most partAll in all this is a entertaining enjoyable book that I give 4 strong stars 🌟

A fun and flirty good time!!
Someone pass me a number 86 Renegades jersey because I have a new favorite player to root for. Most Likely to Score is everything I could have hoped for. After reading Most Valuable Playboy, I was desperate for Jones and Jillian’s story. To say I was not disappointed would be a giant understatement. I LOVED it!! This book was super flirty and sweet. Not to mention hot!! (Ahem, fantasy enactment scene.) With Jillian Moore being the team’s PR woman and Jones Beckett being the star wide receiver, the forbidden element was absolutely delicious.Labeled as the team’s “player”, Jones Beckett is in need of an image change to please his sponsors. Jillian comes up with an idea of a charity calendar that will help both Jones’s image as well as elevate her standing in her quest to earn the new VP position. The project causes them to travel and spend a lot of time together – including an overnight stay in another city. As time goes on feelings grow. Since she works for the team and he has a reputation, they know they shouldn’t be together. The tension builds and it’s was sooo good!Jones flirtatious nature, his charisma, and his charm, has made him one one of my favorites. The heart on that man gave me all the swoons. The player reputation and negative headlines do not take away what a great guy he is. He is a perfect counterbalance to Jillian. I completely adored her!! She is so smart and professional and she’s not afraid to unleash her quick wit and sass. I loved loved loved their chemistry and their banter. Most Likely To Score is a perfect pass into the end zone for a game winning touchdown and I can’t get enough of it. I kind of want to reread it immediately. Lovers of Lauren Blakely, sport romances, rom-coms or just really good stories should pick this book up ASAP. You won’t be disappointed.

I have really enjoyed reading this series of books. This story is the one between Jones the football star and Jillian the PR person. Will they ever recognize that they both have feelings for each other. Will they be able to make it work, considering they work together. A must read story!

Book an appointment with your dentist, as Jillian and Jones’ story is so darn sweet it will give you a toothache.I have adored Ms Blakely’s male POV stories, however it was nice to go back to dual POV for a little while. Most Likely To Score is full of fun and flirty banter, laced with a huge dose of UST. Serious sexual tension that you can cut with a knife. **still fanning myself**At times Jones kinda loses his man card with his amazingness, but he earns it all back – with extra (this could just be me though)I love that Jones really likes to be at one with nature. Poor Jillian – I know I would never ever have her willpower! What I really liked is that there is no drama for drama’s sake. No OTT tragedy in their pasts (sure, they have their problems but who doesn’t?) Nope, we are focused on our lovelies and them working towards a relationship when it all seems like it’s a bad idea)So hands off (I am talking about you Bianca!) I am taking this Jones as mine! Can’t wait to see what Ms Blakely brings us next.

Jonas knew he needed to clean up his playboy image for his team and Jillian their PR girl decided he would be the one they should use for a new calendar. Seeing him being photographed did things to her, he was such a beautiful man. What she didnt know was that Jonas wanted to get to know her and they circled each other for a while. Jillian didnt want to be just another number and Jonas had to prove that she was special. Nice sports story.
