Monitor Pet Eating Habits in Real-Time – The PETLIBRO auto cat feeder with collar tag sensor, supported by Pawsense on the app, generates insightful data reports by monitoring your pet’s meal times and frequency, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of their eating patterns.
Intelligent Automatic Feeding – The PETLIBRO app enables you to create or modify multiple feeding schedules at your convenience, bringing consistency and balance into your pet’s mealtimes. The manual feeding option also allows you to provide an extra reward for your furry friend anytime. (The 3L PETLIBRO automatic pet feeder with collar tag sensor can accommodate a cat for approximately two weeks, though actual duration may vary based on consumption.)
Adjustable Lid Settings for Quicker Adaptation – The food bowl lid speed of the PETLIBRO Wi-Fi timed cat feeder can be adjusted to one of three modes, enabling your pet to quickly adapt to the feeder based on their needs. Additionally, the lid’s closing time can be customized, providing the flexibility to close the lid within 1-10 seconds after the pet walks away.
Five-Layers of Freshness – The sealed lid on the PETLIBRO smart cat feeder, equipped with silicone strips on the edges, effectively isolates air from entering the food tank. It’s PERFECT!
My oldest kitty, Donut, was recently diagnosed with urinary crystals and requires to be on prescription food that other kitty, Mabel, cannot be on. He is also not allowed to eat her food to try and keep everything under control. Feeding them at certain times was difficult to do as Mabel is a big foodie, and if Donut didn’t eat all of his food, she would eat it all. So after much research on the many different covered automatic feeders, I decided on purchasing two of this one. It is a bit expensive but absolutely worth the price, and the kitties took up to it immediately! The setup isn’t too hard as long as you follow along with the booklet they provide, then the PETLIBRO app does the rest. Very simple and easy to set up.What I like about it is that it only opens for the specific cat whose tag you register to it. Mabel did try to bite her way into Donuts bowl, but was unsuccessful thankfully. That proves how durable it is!!! I also like that you can set up meal times to automatically dispense at a certain time at a certain amount. If you free feed, this is still possible to do per pet if you just keep track of how much food has been eaten and just refill when it gets low. You can set dispensing schedules by day and time and if you prefer for the kitties to get fed a certain amount 3 days a week and differently the other 4 days, you can absolutely easily set it up that way. The ability to also put batteries into the feeders to allow it to work in case of a power outage is a lifesaver!! If you have a kitty that is also food crazy, you can adjust the cover closing times and speed to try and help ensure that the other kitty does not steal food. I’ve also placed the feeders in different rooms to avoid this. While there are a lot of pros, there are a few cons but it isn’t necessarily a deal breaker for the overall feeder. If you schedule meal times, if the kitty hasn’t eaten the full amount, it will obviously pile onto the food in the bowl already. If your kitty isn’t much of an eater, the food will pile up and cause the dispenser to get blocked. It’s easy to fix, as I usually just open the cover in the app and use my finger to pull the blocked food down. For my kitty who doesn’t eat a ton, I have turned off scheduled feeding to avoid this from happening and just refill when it gets low. This isn’t a deal breaker whatsoever as he is still getting the food he needs! When setting up, the feeder also does talk, which may be startling for some skittish kitties. Luckily, my kitties were not fazed by it; although, I did completely turn down the voice as soon as I could to avoid them getting scared if it did talk for any reason. Lastly, the last con is the often changing and cost of the desiccant bags; although, there are alternatives that you can find online and use in place of the PETLIBRO branded bags that work just as good.Overall, this is a great product given my situation! It does its job perfectly and helps keep my mind at ease that my kitties are getting the food they need. 100% recommend!

Reliable automated dog feeder for larger dry dog food-gets the job done
Our dog keeps getting up earlier and earlier to be fed in the morning, and it was really disrupting our sleep. I had tried one of these machines in the past and returned it within 5 minutes because it couldn’t connect to Wifi. When my sleep was so disrupted it was affecting my daily functioning, I decided it was time to find an automatic dog feeder that actually works. This one does.Thank you, Amazon, for offering a wide selection of items and having detailed reviews–which is why I’m writing one like this now, approximately after a month of usage. All of these automated feeders are Made in China (MIC) and around the same price point, so how do you differentiate? The biggest thing IMO is to NOT buy one that requires connection to WiFi. The 2.4 vs 5 GHz requirement is a deal-breaker in any household with wireless internet. I also don’t need or care about a camera or app: the fewer moving parts, the more reliable. Next, food size capacity is critical. There is one moving part, and if it gets clogged, you’re screwed. This brand specifically handles up to 15 mm diameter food, which is the size of my small/medium dog’s dry food. So far, it has dispensed without any problems.Programming the feeding times and amounts is fairly straightforward. The directions are clear enough (see below). You can also program a voice ‘call’; though the sound quality isn’t great, it works. The unit has a fairly long extension cord or requires 3 D batteries (I used three old NiMH rechargeables whcih seem to work). The food storage bin holds at least one week’s worth of food for our 25 pound dog. It has a lock on the top lid to prevent the dog from breaking in.The machine works very well so far. My dog, however, remains very confused and intimidated by it. Breaking her Pavlovian ritual of waking us up to be fed breakfast, or barking to be fed her second meal, has been much more difficult to do–but that’s not the machine’s fault!I give this 5 stars because it works as described, and reliably. I would really give 4.5 starts becauseseveral simple aspects could be readily improved (a common complaint for all things MIC): Make the icons visible on the buttons (they are almost invisible and require either a flashlight or looking at the instructions each time to figure out which buttons are which); write directions in non-broken English; and make the food bowl connection to the machine with metal rather than plastic, which can easily break. I don’t need or care about WiFi connection, app or camera as described above, so those are actually positive omissions.

Great concept
I love the idea of this feeder, I have 4 cats so bought 4 of them since a couple of them need to lose some weight and I am able to control how much food they get.I’ve had these for almost a year now and here are my thoughts:Pros:RFID collar and sensor pad seem to work wellApp is fairly easy to navigate and useGreat for keeping food separate for different catsBattery back-upCons:App shows nothing on how to fix error messages (that show in the app)Have to rely on the RFID collar – would be so much better if you could attach it to the cats microchip! One of my cats popped his collar off and it took us almost a week to find it, so we had to put out bowls of food again so he could eatFood outlet constantly gets blocked and food won’t feed into bowl – I had to put something under the back of the feeder to tilt it so the food comes out, and that doesn’t always work either, still getting outlet blocked messagesThe food door sometimes gets stuck open so any cat can eat out of that feeder when that happensOverall, I love the convenience of this feeder, but it could definitely use some tweaking to fix some design issues.

As others have had, our issue was the cat waking us up at 4 and 5 am to be fed. Too save my sanity I thought I had to try something. Our cat took to this easily, my wife recorded her voice calling the cat and when she hears this she just runs downstairs to the feeder. The voice is not very loud and I was concerned that she would not hear it but obviously her ears are better than mine and we have it in the basement and she can hear the voice prompt from a long way away. I set it for 5:30 am and have not been woken up since. I also have a small snack at 12 noon and then another feeding at 6pm. The cat runs every time she hears it. If I have one complaint its the extremely small font used in the instruction manual and the hard to read buttons on the unit. Makes it a bit of a challenge to program it the first time, but once you get thru that it works as it should.

The device works well for the most part and fulfills it’s use as an auto feeder plus rfid tagger so only one of my cats can eat from it.However there seems to be a touch sensitivity and button placement issue, whereby once I unlock the touch buttons (they are by default locked) there are ghost inputs. The worst part is the lid open button is right next to the reset button, so when I tried to manually open the lid, the ghost input instead kept resetting the device causing me to redo the whole setup a few times. Also for a device that cost that much perhaps it would not be too much to ask that a camera come equipped so we can see which pet is using the feeder rather than rely on the rfid tracker which can be wildly inaccurate at times; I have seen a few instances where my cat was eating from it but the app says it has not used the feeder.

Our cat needs a specific calorie count as he had gained some weight. We were measuring food daily and even tried doing a week at a time but it was becoming a hassle. This machine has been amazing! The setup was very easy and the machine works great for our cat’s food (Purina Overweight Management). Calculating the number of portions was simple. I dispensed a single portion from the machine a few times and weighed them to get an average per portion (they were very close) then figured out how many portions he needed per day (14) and divided them up into 3 meals (5-5-4). We have needed to move the unit to a different location a couple of times and since we had the battery installed we didn’t lose the meal settings when it was unplugged for a few minutes. We haven’t used the voice feature because our cat seems to know when food time is getting close and hangs around it. As soon as he hears the food dropping into the bowl he comes running! The large hopper holds at least a few weeks of food so I would feel comfortable trusting it to keep him fed if we needed to be away for a few days. We haven’t had any issues with it becoming jammed or skipping meals.

I like my sleep, and I like knowing that Chandler will be fed while I’m away at work. I had this feeder for 2.5 years and then it stopped working. Great value for my money.. but just disappointing that it stopped working. But when it DID work. It was perfect. I was able to sleep past 4:30 am! Setting it up was a little difficult, and the instructions weren’t the greatest. But once you figure it out, it’s a breeze.

Love the perfect options it has. Food doesn’t get stuck, like it used to in our last feeder. Can have small or large portions, and can have different amounts released throughout the day. Easy to program and to change programming. Very easy to manually release a small portion too if it’s not a set feeding time.Very easy to open and close, easy to fill. Nice that it doesn’t have the loud “beep!” that our last feeder did.We haven’t setup the voice recording option, and don’t plan to, so I don’t know about that.I would buy this again!
