Initial impressions…
Yes, like others, it is not exactly 25 ft… when expanding, left to its own devices.However, and this is a big “however”, who cares?This hose is bomb-diggity compact and super light; good-if-not exceptional hardware (*AL, but nicely finished); nice woven exterior; excellent “little big shot” compact nozzle, although I bought alternative “rain shower” for software watering when needed….I am able to keep this in a small seed-start greenhouse rack on the bottom shelf and it takes up less room than a box of miracle grow plant food.Bravo for a compact design. Works well out of the box. I am looking forward to the durability and longevity test and see if this holds up for me over time.

Lightweight yet durable
This hose is much more compact than our previous hose as you can see in the picture. It is a shorter length than our previous hose but can easily reach what we need to water by the house. It does not expand for me but it is very stretchy to reach further distances while maintaining the durability of the hose. It is lightweight and easy to use. This compact design prevents tripping over a hose that is left out, too. It comes with a couple of rubber washers to use if there is leakage at the connection site but I didn’t need these.

Good guality but short on length
Seems to be really fine quality. That’s why I gave it a three.I got it to hook up to a tub nozzle in the garage to wash away winter mess from the floor. My garage floor is about 22′ long. The hose, going straight from the spicket went as long as about 2/3 of the floor. I could not reach places I wanted to spray. I am amazed some people thought it 25′.My spicket is over a plastic tub. Perhaps much higher pressure could stretch the hose?It was way short of 25′ and could not do a job I bought needed because it was short.
