The Art Of Tone Gavitt Cloth Wire, 22 Gauge Guitar Wire, Pushback Wire for Electric Guitar Upgrades Kits, and Wiring Harness, 22awg 7-Strand Pre-tinned Copper Wire 10ft of Each Black/White/Yellow
$19.99
Vintage style cloth covered wire. Wire is 22 awg 7-strand and pre-tinned, cloth jacket has a waxed cotton outer braid and a Celanese inner braid. This wire is an accurate replication of the wire used in vintage Fender’s. Made by the same company. Stranded wire is the good stuff for wiring or rewiring your guitar. Much easier to work with than solid core when you are trying to solder to the back of a pot, or lug. White is hot, black for ground, yellow was traditionally used for the middle pickup on 3 pickup single coils.

Revolutionize Your Wiring
When it comes to wiring for guitars, amps, or any vintage-style applications, this 7 strand wire is truly exceptional. In fact, I believe it’s the best wire I’ve ever had the pleasure of using. What sets it apart is not only its impeccable performance but also the convenience it offers. The three-color assortment provided with this wire is a boon for organization. It helps keep things neat and easily identifiable during wiring projects. Moreover, the wire arrives tightly packaged, ensuring its safe delivery when ordered. The most remarkable aspect of this wire is its pre-tinned and pushback wiring. This means you don’t have to go through the hassle of stripping the wire; you simply pull back the cloth covering and start soldering. It’s a time-saving feature that adds to the overall efficiency of the wiring process.I personally used this wire to connect humbuckers, pots, and even employed it in small electronic applications to achieve a captivating “steampunk” aesthetic. Throughout my experience, I encountered no issues with this wire, except for a few instances of user error. Its durability is worth noting as well; even when standing on it, the wire didn’t snap or break. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would confidently give this wire a perfect score of 10. It surpasses any other brand I’ve come across in terms of quality, convenience, and reliability. It’s important to note that each cloth covering contains only one wire, without the occasional inclusion of hot and ground/shielding wires. In conclusion, if you’re in need of exceptional wire for guitar, amp, or vintage-style wiring projects, I wholeheartedly recommend this 7 strand wire. Its top-notch performance, combined with the convenience of pre-tinned and pushback wiring, make it a standout choice. You can’t go wrong with this wire, and it’s undoubtedly a superior option compared to other brands available in the market.

Good wire, easy to solder
Perfect for wiring a guitar. Good sound quality, very functional and bendable. Very easy to solder with and cut to size. Must have for guitar builds that aren’t toolless installs.

This is exactly the real vintage stuff…
There’s varying opinion on if or how wire actually affects tone. It’s all what you hear I guess… That being said.Regardless of your opinion. It’s the same wire as every vintage guitar I’ve ever owned, so why mess with success? Plus it just looks right. I use it in every custom build and no complaints about tone ever.

Stranded? Yes!
The insulation type, colors, and lengths of this wire are as advertised, and it is indeed 22 AWG.It may be stranded wire, but it’s hard to tell. It feels and acts like solid wire. Electrically that’s not an issue, but mechanically solid wire is more fragile, tending to kink easily, and not infrequently break inside the insulation at the kinks, if it is moved around too much. After working with this wire for a while, it turns out that it actually IS stranded wire — it really should say so on the package, but regardless, I upped if from 4 to 5 stars. It seems to be pretinned and solders easily, and the insulation is both durable and easy to manipulate. Great stuff for wiring guitar electronics.

Awesome.
I LOVE this wire. I wire many guitars and this is all that I use. Very high quality and it pushes back easy. I like the 3 colors. It makes it easier for me to keep things organized. Great price and quantity.

priced pretty decent good quality
you get a fairly decent amount for the price you pay. the cable is of great quality a little stiffer than expected but of course, that’s the vintage style of wiring. used these on a couple of Les Pauls and a mockingbird (wiring pots and jack output as well as for extending humbucker wires on a short pickup (use heat shrink with these cloth cables to reduce any interference)

Fantastic wiring, an absolute must for accurate professional wiring jobs. Avoid the braided shield wiring and stick with this stuff.

I’ve had bad experiences purchasing cloth wire before so this last time I went out shopping I wanted to make sure I got the real deal, and I’m not disappointed. These are top quality, easy to work with

allpartsやMontreuxのものと違わない感じです。配線マニアのレベルの人なら分かりませんが、自分は大きな違いはないと感じました。こちらの方がメートル辺りが安いのでありがたいです。
