I am obsessed with this book I love this whole series so far but this one gave me all the feels it has a happily ever after but this one is a tear jerker it definitely broke my heart in parts but it worked out even if it was sad no option would have been perfect and i was very empathetic to what the mmc and fmc were going through. This series and this book is so well written and i love how the author tackles these sensitive subjects that are hard but relatable i definitely recommend and this is an interconnected stand alone and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Casey and Caroline in the last book which will be an epilogue of all the couples from the series. Also the audio book for this story is amazing I went from reading it myself and listening to the audio and it was amazing to listen to

What a sweet story in a way to see Casey finally fall for someone. The man that only does one night, falls hard for his sweet Caroline. A pregnancy two guys and more. I loved this so much. Great heat in it as well. Good story

Casey & Caroline’s story was tough.
I liked this story but I didn’t LOVE this story if that makes sense. I liked how fun Casey was and that he was upfront about not wanting relationships because of his own parents and the trauma he faced dealing with that. I looked forward to Caroline’s story ever since she was introduced in the first book because I thought it was fun how into hockey she was and her crush on Casey was super fun.I’m a fan of the whole series, this one just didn’t check all the boxes for me. I was glad that in this book the MMC was not the only one who had other sexual encounters after the initial one night stand with the FMC. But I think they both could have handled certain things better.Things I wished I would have gotten:1. A moment where Casey told Caroline his story of abandonment as a child due to his father. I think this conversation could have coupled on her own feelings being adopted and allowed a bit more strength in their relationship.2. A revisit to the tattoo shop after he fell for Caroline would have been a fun scene in an epilogue. Maybe Caroline could have even gone with him. It would have just been a nice bonus scene to have him own up to falling in love with the tattoo artist who did his red heart artwork.Overall, it was a nice addition to the Nolan U Hockey House set, but it wasn’t the best in the group.

All the emotions!!
Holy emotional rollercoaster!!! The Game Changer was the third book in Katy’s Nolan U Hockey series. It was an emotional ride filled with swoon!Caroline knew Casey’s reputation but it didn’t stop her from wanting him. After one night and several tests later, she knew she was in trouble. Would Casey step up and help her or would he want nothing to do with her, especially when the truth came out?Oh Caroline, what did you do to my sweet Casey?? I get why Caroline did what she did to a certain extent, but she definitely lost points in my book. I still really enjoyed the book, she just took me by surprise and it totally explained her roommate’s attitude! Now Casey…how sweet was he?? He absolutely made me swoon! My heart was torn in two but Casey was able to help heel it! Can’t wait to continue this series!

If you haven’t dived into this series yet I highly recommend it. This is Casey and Caroline’s story and it if filled with lots of intensity, emotions, angst, twists, drama and heat. I’ve got to be honest and say that this was not my favorite entry in this series and honestly that was because I could not connect with these characters, even though they inspired strong feelings in me. I found them both frustrating and unlikable. Regardless, the writing is well done, and it was great being back in the Nolan U world and seeing old friends and meeting some new ones.
