I had a siding company coming to side my house. I said “Should I get this magnet thing? Is it worth 20 dollars?” well 5 days.. they cleaned up. my wife cleaned up.. then I ran my magnet over every inch of the driveway and of the 5 days. This picture is what I got daily for 5 days. It works and it works really wellSure the wheel fell off once. I put it back on and it was fine.but did this pick up nails? Sure did.. did it pick up things that had been there for a LONG time in addition to the nails from construction. It SURE did. Considering it is probably 20 dollars or more to get a tire plugged.This is a no brainer. It works. picks up small ones. PIcks up big nails picks up anyhing magnetic too.When you CATCH something you hear a loud click. I pick the tool up and put whatever in my pocket then continue. It is worth every penny. In a way I wonder if I shouldnt have bought the 70 dollar one that is like 30 times stronger. This worked great. Pulled up a TON of stuff I dont want in my tires of my cars.

Magnet works – handle sucks
The magnet was very effective in picking up nails and screws from the yard. The expanding handle just kept collapsing and the wheels do not roll freely through the grass. Got the job done but it wasn’t easy.

I recently had my roof replaced. A friend recommended I get a magnetic sweeper because the roofing company would not do a great job cleaning up the nails. I opted for this one versus a much more expensive one. It got the job done. It picked up nails and nail barbs on the driveway, in the lawn and plant beds. The size was good because I was able to get under the bushes along the side of the house. The telescoping handle does not tighten into place. It collapses if you push the sweeper. I also had issues with the handle bending at the place where it inserted into the magnet when I pushed it and a wheel got caught on something. Solution is to pull it.

Works well handle us a little wobbly
Just had our roof redone and I wanted to try to make sure we didn’t get pesky nails in our tires. This worked great. You do need to put on the wheels but not difficult at all and screw on the handle and go… the handle is slightly wobbly but didn’t keep the product from being effective. We found a handful of nails in our plant beds and driveway. This did a great job and was inexpensive. We won’t be using this too much so didn’t see the point in buying an expensive $60.00 product. This did its job and I could justify paying $20 for something I won’t be using all that much.

The magnet picked up over 100 nails, bolts and nuts. I had already gone over the area with a flat magnet. I pushed this item around a large house under construction. Rough terrain and all. It is small which was better for me. Lots of obstacles to navigate it through. Great value for the money.

Wish I had bought one years ago! Tyres for our family cars are in the region of £150 each, this is in the region of £30. Within seconds of doing my first pass in front of the garage I heard a “click” as it picked something up.Feels sturdy and well made and was very simple to put together.

Works well, good strong magnet. The main issue it that the handle doesn’t stay extended when pushing on grass. It can be pulled in stead but it would be handy if there was a away to keep the handle extended when pushing…but works fine pushing or pulling on cement or gravel.

This is a simple tool but it works, my only complaint is that the extending handle does not lock into place and collapses when you push on it with any force. The answer is to drag the tool instead of pushing it.
