This 5V USB to DC Charging Cable is a great way to charge your electronics that use a DC barrel input. While there aren’t many electronics that are powered or charged via 5V using a barrel connector, they do still exist. And likely if you have these electronics, you may have lost and misplaced the USB-A to DC barrel cable. You will often find these cables used for charging battery packs for electric gloves and toys. For myself, I need to charge my Logitech diNovo Edge mini keyboard, which I’ve lost the charging cable for. With this charging cable, I was able to adapt the DC 5.5×2.1mm connector to a smaller diameter connector that plugged right into my keyboard. Great when you need to charge one of these non-standard devices.

We have a few devices that have had their original cable damaged, and because they aren’t a standard USB port, it’s been hard to find an inexpensive option to use/charge these devices.Thankfully, this 5V to DC gives you loads of options that should fit a wide range of gadgets.For us, this worked perfectly, and we can use those devices again.The cable doesn’t feel super durable, so I would have preferred a more robust cable with reinforcement.Each of the adapter tips come mounted and organized, which I like.At under $13, I don’t think you can go wrong.
