Durable
I purchased this item 2 years ago, and it withstood multiple snowfalls last year, uncovered, on my back patio and doesn’t show any rot anywhere. Last spring, we planted herbs, and this year, we planted pollinator flowers. No matter what gets planted, it thrives in this raised bed with proper attention and watering. Although the wood seemed dainty when putting it together, it really is very durable. I love the inserts that go in each pocket, making it very easy to plant and water without losing any of the dirt through the slats. Would definitely buy again if it ever begins to deteriorate.

We love the table! And the reviews were very helpful.
Beautiful and sturdy planter table. The reviews were very helpful with the assembly, including the negative ones. One of them mentioned problems with the wood splitting when the screws were inserted so I made sure to pre-drill a pilot hole before running the screws in. Worked like a champ. But our favorite review was the one from Melodie where they attached casters to the bottom. What a great idea.I couldn’t find any that had proper size brackets to fit the legs so I found some threaded stem-mount casters with inserts for mounting to wood legs. Made by Hirate and available on Amazon in several sizes. I chose the 2.5 inch ones and they work great. To attach them you carefully drill a 1/2 inch hole about 1.5 inches deep into the bottom of the legs. Then you screw the threaded insert into the hole until flush. The kit didn’t come with an allen wrench to install it but luckily I had a 10mm allen wrench in my shop. Then you screw the threaded stem into the insert with the provided wrench and you’re done. The wheels make it so much more versatile and easy to move around. Totally worth the extra $24.Love the table and can’t wait to put it to use!Edit: Decided to make our first attempt something easy. Lettuce, lettuce, kale and cilantro. Still yielding in late October in NC. Totally pleased.

Wonderful planter
I love my herb garden!! Easy to put together. Great size for the patio. Herbs are growing well and our food never tasted better. Does not take much to maintain. Makes a lovely spot of greenery.

Better than I expected, should work well enough.
Ordinarily I would just build something, but with lumber prices the way they are and so many other projects on the table, this will do. My wife picked this up for me as we’ve been discussing starting a garden and since I love to cook, herbs were the natural start. Construction is as expected, thin low grade “wood”, but once its together it actually holds up quite well. Took ten minutes to assemble with a drill and I was going slow to ensure I didn’t split any wood and everything was perfect, so as to give it the best chance at being sturdy. Surprisingly, almost everything lined up perfectly and what didn’t, was easily held to flush while I put the screw in. Probably wouldn’t last long if it was left outside and open to the elements, but I’ll be keeping it on our SIP, so it’ll be protected, but still get fresh air and sunshine.

Love this!
This planter is great. Easy to assemble, just make sure you pay attention to the orientation of the pieces, installed one upside down, but easy enough to fix. I DIY’d a shade cage to protect my herbies from blazing in the Florida sun-so far they are thriving! And I added casters to the bottom so I can easily move her around to catch rain or shade when needed. Fits a good amount of plants. In my laziness my plan is to just keep them in their pots which is working out great. All in all having lots of fun with this planter! May get another for veggies.

LOVE IT!!
When I first opened the box it looked really cheap to me but once I put it together I found it to be sturdy and very nice looking! Not cheap at all!!! There is a shelf at the bottom where you can store things and there is plenty of room for multiple types of herbs. It comes with these black liners that initially look really big and sloppy but once you fill with soil and herbs they fit nicely in the compartments. This looks so much much better than having herbs in random pots. I get so many compliments on it and I love to look at it myself!! Great buy for the price!!

Works great!!
This is a wonderful addition to your home gardening. I would suggest that you paint a waterproof stain of some kind over it to add several years to its life. Very easy to assemble!

Lightweight and Well-Crafted
I recently got my hands on this raised herb garden, and I must say, it has been a fantastic addition to my outdoor space. The first thing that caught my attention is how incredibly lightweight it is, which makes it easy to move around. Once assembled, it’s clear that it’s very well built, sturdy and durable. Each pocket provides ample space for my herbs to grow and thrive. I was also pleased with the finish—it feels smooth and well-made, and I don’t think there’s any risk of getting splinters. Overall, I absolutely love this raised herb garden and would highly recommend it to fellow gardening enthusiasts.

I had no trouble putting it together, it’s pretty simple. I did find it easier to drill the screw holes prior to attaching the pieces. It isn’t a heavy duty build but I was looking for something I could move around on my deck so it’s perfect. I like the fact that the upper shelf is slotted for drainage and the dividers removable. Added a couple of hardware pieces for decoration. Now all I need are the herbs.

I have been looking for a herb garden for a while now and I found this one and absolutely love it. It’s sturdy and more than I thought it would be. I recommend this to who really want to grow their own herb garden. Love it!!

Seems very overpriced for the mediocre quality of the planter. I had hoped it was of better quality and more solid for the $200+ price tag. Instead, bits of the wood are already splintering which does not bode well for usage and the shelf under the plant area and on the bottom are quite flimsy. Received liners in white (!) which is not going to look so great. Also, very glad I read reviews and purchased a power screwdriver as you really need one to put this together. Instructions are a little incomplete as well so you have to figure it out as you go. I am hoping this will last a few years but I have doubts. You may be better off building your own (if you have skills).

Bought this to have my own little herb garden, I am a woman and find it easy to put the planter together ( easer than Ikea furniture) just use an electrical screw driver and you are all set, the only complain is the size of screws (smaller one) are a little bit short , I replace them with longer screws to keep the joints together better, just need two bags of (30 l) soil and you are good to go.
