So many channels to watch live…
My daughter kept stealing my remote- so I bought her one of her own. She loves it! So many functions/catchy tunes. Keeps her entertained and good quality.

Good distraction but the music is unusually bad
As a fun little distraction for our baby, it works well! Definitely nice to hand over a remote and not have the tv and stereo turning on and off and all kinds of things. However, the messages behind the songs are, as others have put, not exactly constructive. “So many channels, so little time,” is a weird message when you can concentrate on numbers, colors, etc. To make matters worse, the singer they had on hand is absolutely *terrible.* Seriously, I don’t think the music would have been so glaringly bad if they spent more than $5 for a decent singer because this is straight up embarrassing. Listen for yourself. It’s almost comically bad.

The one toy my daughter LOVES
10/10 my daughter loves. She uses all the time, battery hasn’t died. she tosses it, bites it, abuses it lol and it still holds up. Quality and functionality is top tier.

Cute toy!
My daughter has been interested on the TV remote since she was a few months old. As she got a bit older, she would try to be sneaky and would wait till no one was looking and she would hide our remote in her covers. Bought her this, and she was instantly enthralled with it. Lots of buttons and lots of different noises, but she always likes to hit the same button over and over again, no matter the toy. I love the volume control it has: off, low, and high. I turn it on low when she feels the need to repeat the same sounds. She is 14 months old now, and for a few months has understood how to turn the volume up, and it is easy to do as the slider button is right on the side of the remote. She is a biter and likes to gnaw on toys. It is holding up pretty well. She likes to throw on the concrete when I get her out of the car, and it takes the abuse well. Best of all, she mostly leaves the TV remote alone now 😊.

Annoying For Adults but Great For Babies
My 7 month old loves buttons on computers, remotes, and phones. I was dreading having to buy a fake technology device for her as a toy but hey a moms gotta do what a moms gotta do. My daughter instantly loved it and didn’t touch our real remote after. Yes, The songs are annoying, and I also wish they weren’t about loving to watch TV but at 7 months old, I don’t think my daughter understands any of it. So I don’t think this remote toy will program her to love TV. It would be nice if when you had it on it only made noise when touched, but my baby loves it off as much as she does on. Would definitely buy again and recommend to a friend.

Almost real…..
We were trying to keep my 11 month old granddaughter from chewing up our tv remote. So far this is a great substitute. I love that it has an on/off button and controllable volume. I think she likes the lights that flash. Eventually when she is older we will also play with this when she is learning colors and numbers. Great toy for the money.

I just received this today so my review is based on a very short period of time with the toy. I got it for my 7 month old baby who absolutely loves our actual remote controls. Well, as I anticipated, the baby knows the difference and knows this doesn’t actually control the TV despite all my dramatic antics in “pretending” to do so, lol. Nonetheless, he likes the toy as just what it is – a toy. I think he’s still a little too young to fully appreciate it as he doesn’t quite understand the concept of pressing the different buttons and just keeps trying to press the light at the top that lights up. While I don’t think it’ll be his favourite toy, it easily makes the cut into our daily toy rotation and I think he will enjoy it for a long time, so I would definitely recommend this toy.The effects are pretty cool. For example, when you press a number, it’ll say something like “channel 1, weather. today will be a sunny day” (I can’t remember exactly) or “channel 2, music” and plays a fun jingle or you can turn the “volume up”.
