Great Screen at an Excellent Price
I installed this screen and backup camera in my wife’s 2010 Acura MDX. I was skeptical at first but to my surprise this is a good quality product. The display is the perfect size and has an excellent picture. The touchscreen is very responsive. The backup camera has a wide angle and looks great even at night. I used the auxiliary input on the factory headunit for sound output. Pairing with the iPhone was easy and it connects immediately every time. At this price point, this unit is a bargain. I highly recommend buying this.

Phenomenal CarPlay Unit for Every Car without CarPlay
Late last year (2014), I investigated replacing my wife’s car stereo (Mercedes Benz 2014 GLK250) with a stereo equipped with CarPlay. The major online and big box providers of aftermarket head units quoted me prices close to $1,000. A friend suggested I research portable CarPlay units. After a thorough investigation, I settled on this unit. (Wireless Portable Carplay Screen for Car – 10.26-inch Carplay with 4K Dash Cam, Backup Camera, Bluetooth, GPS Navigation from the Kuayvan Store). At this reasonable price, I had my doubts.Wow, was I wrong! The unit is better than the CarPlay unit that came standard in my high-end daily driver.The word “installation” should not be used. It does not come close to being anything near “installation.” Simply put, take it out of the box, attach it via the many options they provide, plug it in, and connect your phone. Done. It is awesome. Sound streams through your existing system in a variety of methods. For those cars with no Bluetooth or radio, buy a cheap speaker, velcro it to your dash, plug in the supplied aux cable, and crank your music. Works great. Everything is extremely easy to install.The quality of the build is far better than the price would lead you to believe. It arrives packed like an Apple product. The screen is sensitive and precise, and I noticed no lag time at all. I brag about this product to everybody with a car not equipped with CarPlay. (In fact, I talked my trainer into buying one with the promise that if she disagreed with me that it was drive-changing, I would buy it from her. She bought it and has become a convert. She tells me that any thoughts of getting a new car are gone. Buy this unit.

Quick to connect wireless android auto every time, has never failed on startup to find and connect
Install of unit itself was really painless, spent a lot of time running power and aux cord behind unit though dash for clean install, but simply mounting unit and hooking up and connecting was a 5 minute job. Instructions do say to use only the power supply that comes with unit and I’d agree with this fully. I did originally use a phone charger power supply that I already had in my dash to power unit and on initial testing I thought this was going to work fine. Next day I installed that backup camera and ran the cable for it to unit, upon plugging it in, unit started rebooting every 15 seconds or so, reached out to tech support and while working with them on issue I tried using the supplied power supply and this fixed the problem, hasn’t rebooted when it shouldn’t since… so follow that direction, use the power supply that came with it. Screen is bright, and large, connects in seconds to phone and starts android auto, backup camera works great, good resolution on it. I have no complaints about the system at all. Very happy with it, nice easy way to add android auto (or carplay if you want) to a vehicle without a screen for andoid auto.

Kind of Surprised Me
To be 100% honest, I wasn’t really expecting this thing to be very good, but figured I’d give it a shot.I have an older car that I want to keep OEM, but would love to use CarPlay in it — before stumbling upon this item, I didn’t know such a thing actually existed. When I received it, I went ahead and connected my phone via Bluetooth, and also connected to an external Bluetooth speaker to test the audio as well. It’s pretty good! CarPlay functions exactly as it would if it were connected to a traditional head unit, and the audio was synced.The Pros:• Setup was dead easy. Click on the CarPlay icon on the screen, then connect your phone via Bluetooth as directed. FYI, the iPhone will display a six-digit code that it wants you to confirm on the device’s screen, but it never popped up for me. I just said okay, and it worked fine.• The screen quality is fine. It’s not going to blow you away, but it’s good enough for what it’s going.• CarPlay works just like it would on a traditional head unit.The cons:• It’s a little laggy. There’s maybe a quarter-second lag between pressing a button on the screen and it responding. On the whole it’s not that big a deal, but it is noticeable.• Related to the above, the screen-drawing time in mapping apps like Apple Maps and Google Maps takes longer to render. On a traditional head unit, it’s pretty much instantaneous, whereas it’ll take a few seconds to render on this thing. I’m fairly sure it’s related to the next point.• I’m pretty sure it’s only using Bluetooth. Traditional head units use both Bluetooth and WiFi connections to the phone, which speeds up reaction and rendering times. I’m guessing WiFi was omitted to save on cost.There are some other features that I haven’t tested because I’m not interested in using them: it has a forward facing camera, as well as a rear-facing camera that can be installed. I believe you can also playback video outside of CarPlay/Android Auto, though you probably shouldn’t. Also, since I don’t have an Android phone I haven’t tested Android Auto, though I’d expect it to function similarly.On the whole, given that the thing is only ~$100, it works pretty well, and is a decent alternative if you either can’t or don’t want to install a new CarPlay-capable head unit. I was pleasantly surprised.

First of all, I am very happy with the product. The screen is absolutely brilliant. Clear and bright even with sunlight directly on it, but suitably dim at nighttime with black blacks. It is responsive and the touch sensitivity is good, and works with thinner gloves. The front and rear camera images are incredibly bright and detailed.I am using this unit on a 2010 Toyota Matrix, an older car that did not have a backup camera or bluetooth and no smartphone integration. This screen unit fits perfectly above the center dash, and the wiring of the backup camera was easy. I was able to find a Youtube instruction video that matched my car’s rear interior and wiring layout. This unit has addressed the biggest shortcomings of this older car, and best of all, it includes a fast charging outlet for your smartphone.I am using it with Android Auto and it works better than I could hope for. I was nervous about the screen shape being so wide, but Android Auto uses this screen effectively, and actually gives a better layout than on my 2021 Nissan. I expect that the CarPlay will work just as well. Wireless Android Auto is a huge convenience. My phone connects within seconds and with a long range.My unit had an issue which was promptly handled by the customer service. The representative on the WhatsApp support line was very responsive (allowing for the Asian time zone) and used flawless English. They walked me through my issue, asked questions and offered videos, then shipped a replacement item from Asia to Canada in 2 days at no charge to me. The replacement works perfectly. This is top-notch customer service. I recommend this product with no hesitation.

Easy setup and nicely optioned. The GPS functionality is important to me and this unit delivers. Very clear, quality screen and easy to use. The big screen is definitely a plus. Plenty of functions and definitely a good value for the price. Highly recommended.

This carplay screen is easy to install, it sticks to your car panel and stays there forever. You can adjust your screen angle after. It’s a touch screen, you can easily find your destination and quickly set it up for driving. Once you’ve added Bluetooth connection to your phone, it will automatically connect, don’t need to open anything in your phone. You can use either voice or text to setup your destination. You can also call, text, listen to the music. It’s not expensive and it definitely worth it’s money.

I have only been using this device for a week, but… It was a fairly easy setup even though the instructions are very thin. The screen size is amazing. The Apple carplay is what I am using but there are multiple other ways to connect to it. Plus Bluetooth, AUX line. The dashcam and the backup cam or use it as a reverse cam so you can record continuously from the back window. either way they are a big extra bonus.Once it was set up. I don’t have to do anything. I get in the car with my iPhone, start the car, and everything connects automatically. The map and directional features are very clear. Messages that you receive are spoken to you and ask for a reply.The Wide screen is the best part, it shows so much information without it being distracting. Can I say again I love it.I purchase a lot of tech but at the moment this is the best. It makes driving fun again. If the quality changes over the next few weeks I’ll update this review.UPDATE: Aug 7th, I have used this device everday and it still works flawlessly, still loving it!

I added this to my 20 year old 4Runner. Excellent product, easy to setup with Apple CarPlay, very responsive touch screen, excellent mounting hardware options included, overall very high quality. The instructions are in English and Japanese, a good indication that this Chinese company wants to be able to compete on quality.I opted to hard wire the usb c power requirements into my fuse panel, but it comes with a good quality, long cable for a cigarette adapter. The front facing camera is excellent and can be turned / raised & lowered, the rear camera is cable attached, which requires wiring, but it seems like the unit may support a wireless rear camera.I only have one complaint, and it is ridiculously minor. I tried using the aux cable for audio. It seems to need a separate filter when used with my old 4Runner, you will likely need one as well. They are cheap and can be ordered from Amazon, look for a 3.5 mm aux cable audio filter. Finally, I already had a cheap $25 Bluetooth Audio / aux cable connector with the filter in my 4Runner and connected to my iPhone. I tried switching between it and this unit to play music from my iPhone. Although the audio from this unit was still good, the audio quality from the separate little Bluetooth connector was noticeably better. The simple solution was to just keep both connected to my iPhone. Like everything else “Apple”, this just works! I get CarPlay on this device and can control the music from it, but the iPhone is actually sending the music to the superior sounding Bluetooth adapter.I am so happy with this setup that I am going to to buy the same items for my slightly newer Lexus RX. The screen mounts easily on either the windshield or the dash and “just works “ with Apple CarPlay.
