Fantastic and Effective Owl Decoys!
Fantastic and Effective Owl DecoysI recently purchased this pack of two owl decoys, and they’ve exceeded my expectations. These decoys are not only realistic but also highly effective at keeping small animals away from my garden. The attention to detail in their design is impressive, with lifelike features and vibrant colors that make them look like real owls.Since placing them in my yard, I’ve noticed a significant decrease in squirrels, rabbits, and other critters nibbling on my plants. The decoys are lightweight yet sturdy, and they’ve held up well against wind and rain. I also appreciate that they come as a pair, allowing me to cover more ground or rotate them to keep animals guessing. If you’re looking for an affordable and humane way to protect your garden, I highly recommend these owl decoys. They’re both functional and a charming addition to any outdoor space!

Quality decoys
Both owls work perfectly, are pretty realistic. The bobble head with twisting motion gives it an extra feature, moving with the wind and making sure it scares the undesired critters away. No woodpeckers in sight since I installed them. Perfect.

Look good, but heads are imbalanced
These owls look great and do the job of keeping birds away from nesting under the roof of my veranda. One of them, however, has an imbalanced heat that tends to turn backwards all the time. That makes it less effective, and I had to fasten it, which of course is also not optimal, as the head is supposed to turn back and forth with the wind… so, I am mostly happy with it, but partly not so much.

Great idea, doesn’t work
Product came as described, unfortunately it didn’t work. For the first few days maybe as the squirrels were curious, but afterwards the squirrels just ran past right next to the owl, or even literally sat next to the owl on the fence. I ended up returning because they did not scare off the stupid squirrels in my yard.

Works!
I purchased these decoys to help save the birds in my backyard, so they won’t get attacked by my sweet but somewhat feral cat. (She’s quite the hunter.) I also have oversized glass windows, on sunny days birds sometimes fly straight into them at full speed. (They bounce off like ping pong balls, so sad to see.) So I decided to give these owls a whirl. Let me tell you, these things worked like a charm. I positioned the owls on top of 2 baskets, by the spot in the grass where my cat hides, which is right by these glass windows. Atop the basket’s they were only elevated by about 2 feet or so. But that was enough, apparently, because the birds instantly disappeared. I went from having a 100+ birds a day, literally, to no birds, just like that. I put the owls up at night, and moved them to slightly different spots the next day. Same result: zero birds. I haven’t set them out since, but will do so again as needed. The only thing I don’t like about these decoys is the so-called “wind vane” on the back of the head. In theory the owl’s head is supposed to move with the wind, but in my case it didn’t work — the heads just got cocked in weird positions, so I removed the vane. But aside from that, these are very good deterrents. Highly Recommend!

Huge Help
So my wife and I have been battling these pigeons since we bought our home and we’ve tried a few things even the spikes, but nothing has worked nearly quite as awesome as these owls, especially putting them up very close to each other. It has kept them away. I stuffed mine with small rocks and adhesive it to the chimney and it’s been a dream.

Did not deter or fool, pigeons
There’s nothing wrong with the product other than the fact that it doesn’t keep the pigeons away which are creating a problem on my roof. I put it up there. It might’ve kept them away for perhaps one day because of the change in scenery but the next day they were walking right next to the owls, and they did not seem to care one little bit as you can see from the picture of the pigeons on the peak of my roof. One of the objects is the plastic owl and the other actual pigeons. I had two of the plastic owls, one on top of the chimney nearby and one right on the peak of the roof

Owl love
Such a beautiful set of owls. They are very well made like very realistic looking. The hole on the bottom was big enough to fill up with rocks and sand so they stay standing without any problem.

Ok

Either pigeons are not afraid of owls anymore or they know these are fake. I guess it would be helpful if face change directions without depending on wind flow or emit owl’s natural sound intermittently.

They were purchased to keep pigeons away. They work great. When the heads turn that keeps all the birds away. Thank You
