Good product, great value.
I was tired of changing the bulbs in my previous light. This product produces more light, should last longer and the led bulbs require less electricity. The manufacturer recommends sealing the fixture with silicone to prevent water damage which I did even though the fixture is well protected under the eves. The 4 star rating is because the light didn’t fit the old box so I had to make a couple modifications, but still did not require any parts that were not included.

Excellent Light & Bright
This motion security light we purchased is very bright. Motion detection is also very great for a little plastic security light. Installation was also relatively easy. The only downside is that motion detection range is sort of small at 110° instead of 180°. Overall, a great LED security light, highly recommend.

It could use a few perks.
This was a pain to install, not completely the lamps fault. I was replacing and existing motion detector lamp and the ceter securing screw was a #10 instead of the #8 in the existing one. Getting the old bracket out through siding on a 12′ ladder on a hill. Argh! It does not come with a rubber sealing ring. If everything inside is potted that’s ok, but there is no way of knowing. If you are mounting on a vertical surface water will get in as well as insects. If I were them, I would throw in a 5 cent seal. Most motion lights have a red light to tell you it is sensing. This one does not. Plus it does not work in the test mode during the day. I really want to be testing in the dark, falling in ditches tripping over stuff. That’s the bad.The good. It gives off more light than I expected. The motion detector is way better than the one it replaced. Once the thing is installed and set up it is awesome.

They don’t last long.
Bought 6 of these in mid 2022. After a few months they were discolored. Went from white to yellow. Very ugly on a white house. Worked fine for about a year and now 2 of them trigger and come on during the day in bright sunshine. 3 others work only when they want to. One out of six works like it’s supposed to but like I said earlier it’s completely discolored.
