June 27, 2024 Update;These battery packs are still going amazingly well! I have only had to charge them 4 times each in the last year and a half. They last so long, I “lost” the plug in cord twice, like it took so long between charges, I couldn’t locate the wall cord when I needed it.. They’re so good, I am ordering two more for my adjustable bed.I got these because my wife didn’t like the cords coming from the couches and beds. After a quick charge, I installed them on the couches and tested them out. There is NO difference between plugged into the wall or plugged into these batteries. On top of that, I charged them a couple months ago and they’re still over half charged. I have kids that make a game of reclining the couches over and over.. I’m amazed they are still holding up so well. 100% would recommend these to everyone.

The 90-degree plug is a feature worth paying extra for
First let me first say, there was an issue with the compatibility of the battery with my furniture’s on/off light. It would hold a full charge for about a week but would then drain quickly. Apparently, this is uncommon, and I just had the misfortune of pairing the two items together.However, Blue Cactus’s customer service was extremely patient and helpful while I reached out to the furniture manufacturer, and we were eventually able to come up with a satisfactory solution. It was refreshing to work with a company that stood behind their product… so, for that, they get five stars :-)Even though they had offered a full refund, I was determined to make the batteries work because the back of my furniture is visible, and the 90-degree plug is more aesthetically pleasing. The only thing I might change is to make the cord that plugs into the furniture a few inches longer to have more flexibility in placing the battery under the furniture out of view. Other than that, they’re well-made and I hope to get many years of use from them.

Worked great for 1-2 months….
I bought one battery and waited to see how long it kept a charge then when it lasted for about a month I ordered another. One more month in when I needed to charge it for the second time the battery would say charged at 100% after 1 minute then only last for 30 seconds. I figured there was a glitch in the charging cycle so left it plugged in charging overnight only to find it still only would stay charged for 30 seconds of use. Roughly one recline. Tried several more times with zero success. Contacted the company. After a chat on their website with customer service that lasted several days as it took roughly 24 hours for each one sided response, they were gracious enough to send a replacement. I am willing to understand that every now and then someone will have a one off bad experience so I was not going to give them a bad review since they did take care of me and make it right in the end. However a couple weeks after getting my free replacement my second battery did the same thing. So in my experience with 2 batteries on different couches I got about 2 full charges and uses of this full charge before they became unusable. I am hoping the replacement winds up having a different story but until I know different it isn’t worth the several day aggravation of trying to get them to replace my second battery just for the replacement to possibly have the same fate. I don’t like that these batteries have such a short useful life. Doesn’t seem great for the planet to have this much battery waste so quickly. And definitely not cost effective if you spend $100 for only 2 months of use. One of the biggest disappointments I have purchased given the money spent and lack of expectations met based on promises made.

We bought a pair of new motorized recliners. Since we didn’t have a convenient outlet to plug them in, we ordered these after some research. I’m very pleased! They were easy to install and work perfectly. It’s been two weeks and I’m still at 85% on the battery charge. Quality packaging as well. Very pleased!
