Why pre-drilled holes spaced 16” apart?
You may have heard framing is done “16 oc” or “16 on center”. 16 on center or 16 oc simply means you place the center of the stud every 16 inches.16-inch stud spacing is the industry standard for residential wall framing. The reason for this is structural but also because materials are made in 8ft and 16ft lengths. Pre-Drilled Hoels fits standard 16″ wall stud spacing for maximum strength.
Do I need to hang heavy items on wall studs?
You may be heard that when you hang something up on a wall that you need to make sure you’re attaching it to a stud in the wall. This is definitely best practice when it comes to anchoring items to a wall, hanging heavy pictures, and floating shelves.

Good. Buy drywall anchors
Good, simple, just what I wanted. Included hardware is worthless. Used my own drywall anchors. Will buy another pair when I get more tools.Update. I bought another pair. They were about 1” shorter than the previous pair I bought. Not a big deal but kinda lame when stacking them above each other and they are different sizes. Again used bigger screws the provided ones are not big enough for the provided anchors. For the price, I’m happy with them.

Really helped organize all my Milwaukee drills and even my tire inflator. Super happy with it. I did purchase a 16 x 12 black plastic plexiglass backer to protect my wall from sliding in and out the drills.

Heavy Duty Rack
This drill rack is extremely heavy duty and built tougher than any that I’ve ever purchased. The holes are 16″ on center. The price is right and I am very pleased with the purchase. My only two critiques are the edges are not sanded so they are very sharp and the “stainless steel” is very magnetic so only time will tell if it rusts.
